I’ve basically battled weight my entire life. As early as I can remember, I was always chubbier then most of my friends. I grew up in a big Italian family who loved food and centered it around everything we did.... and what was portion control? I remember however, feeling like I hated being big from a very young age, and as soon as I could, I went on my first diet of many. I was successful to an extent...looked good for awhile but of course gained it all back and then some... this would be the story of my life over and over and over. Every time I would lose 80, 90...100 lbs my body would just stop losing out of nowhere and rapidly gain it all back and then some. I’m hoping this surgery will finally give me the help I need to prevent that from happening again! Damn genetics!
