I love blue corn chips and tortillas! You kinda have to hunt for it at little hole in the wall stores. Wish I could send you some to try!

Hope this info helps! You comes dry and you boil it with cinnamon sticks, cloves, and pineapple skin. Once it’s done put it in the fridge and when it’s cold you add lime juice and sweetener of your choice. It’s sooo good😍 the last pic is what it looks like when it’s done. You can top it off with chopped apples. The drink is called chicha morada..... and no, it tastes NOTHING like corn

    Frozen Bananas

Hi @IAmGrace! I love frozen banana! It was something that was suggested to me by my nutritionist. I do the following two things with frozen bananas: 1. Smoothies - As you guessed they are great for smoothies. Ill freeze them once they reach my desired ripeness and when I need a quick breakfast I'll make a smoothie with frozen strawberries, a Fairlife protein shake, and a frozen banana. 2. Dessert - My nutritionist suggested the frozen bananas when I mentioned I was looking for something to satisfy my sweet tooth. She said to try out frozen chocolate covered bananas. At Trader Joes they sell frozen chocolate covered banana slices and at my local grocery store they sell the brand "Diana's bananas" in milk and dark chocolate. They are half sized on a stick and are 100 calories. Definitely much better than eating ice cream or other treats. Oh and if you cant find them at the store they are super easy to make. They taste great naked too!

Last nights dinner was milanesa de pollo (breaded chicken) with potatoes, salad, a homemade salad dressing, and aji (yellow hot sauce) This plate was for me and my bf. I ate most of the salad half a piece of chicken, and half the egg.

That's good you have that habit already! I've always been a slow eater too and I feel you with the whole being able to eat more than you should. If you're not doing it already I would stick to dense protein first then everything else. Protein is most filling and you will be making sure you're hitting your protein goal too. I've also noticed that hard veggies like raw cabbage, carrots, and broccoli fill me up fast too.

I felt like I could have definitely eaten more but I stop myself. I try really hard to stay in my calorie range. I think you should try what @GreenTealael suggested which is eating slow. I find that when I eat slow I get full faster.

Thanks! I usually do a ton of recipe comparing and digging and then fuse different components of each recipe to something that I think would be good. For certain ethnic dishes I’m unfamiliar with I use google translate and find recipes that are in that country’s language so I know I’m getting something a bit more authentic.

Last nights dinner 🥘 chicken tikka masala. Used fairlife fat free milk instead of adding cream or half and half and chicken breast inside of chicken thighs. So not sure if anyone’s used kashmiri chili before but if you have, do you consider it hot? I ordered it from amazon and omg that sh*t was hot to me! The flavor is soo good but just very spicy... a little goes a long way. And I have a high heat tolerance lol

Peanut butter is amazing to use in cooking! Peru uses it in some dishes as well and some other Latin American countries too. Pic 1: This ones called Carapulcra. It’s a fusion dish that has African influences. It’s sun dried potatoes (Incan people technique) with roasted pork and the base is made with Peruvian peppers and peanut butter. Pic 2: Ocopa, one of my favorite apps! I posted this not too long ago on here. It was the pic where I had layered potatoes and wrote Peru on the dish. The green sauce is made with peanut butter and black mint. Pic 3: This is a Bolivian soup called Sopa de mani. The literal translation is Peanut soup. Super good!
