I too will miss a cold one on a hot day. But will not miss the heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, ect. Restless monkey, i so get your sense of humor, i don't know why everyone else doesn't get it!!!

Surgery was not bad, a litle sore for a week or two, just take the drugs. I was anxious also but very glad I did it. Hang in there!

9 cc yup, so tell me what do you eat? I have had no problems with anything, how about you? I am a night time eater, so that is the only time i have to control.

I am going in for a fill on dec 11. I really don't want to get so restricted as it seems some people get unless it gets to the point i am not losing at all. I think slow is better health wise for me. I would rather save some fills for on down the road

Nicey, you are doin great!!! I am down 25lb but seems like more, my clothes don't feel like i am stuffed in them. I am down to size 16 . I still don't have much restriction just can't eat as much but can eat anything. No problem with getting stuck no pb never have, guess i don't know what i'm missing lol. I just get a real heavy feeling in my chest if i eat too much. I have the realize band with 3.5 cc fill so far. Thanksgiving will be interesting as we all know in the past just eat till your sick!! Won't be doin that this year. Thank god i am not cooking this year. Just gonna eat and run. Hope you all have a great day!

Has Anyone Gone Trhu The New Start Program. So Far They Sure Don't Return Calls And The Only Time I Get Any Info Is To Call Call Call! I Have Turned In All Requirements Thru My Drs. And Sure Am Getting Tired Of Waiting. I Was Pre Approved With My Insurance So You Would Think This Wouldn't Take So Long!! Anyone Experienced With New Start??

I was banded by Dr Follwell last month. Everyone at St Alexis was very nice. I am 1 hour north of St Louis, don't like going to the city either. Good luck with your surgery, mine went great!

I have been eating adkins shake for breakfast. tuna and crackers (wheat thins ) for lunch and yogurt for snack. usually creamy soup or chicken strips for dinner SS pudding . I am going to start trying new things but have been safe with these. I know what you mean about the heavy feeling in my chest, but have not PB'd anything. I don't get too hungry but still no restriction Lory

Hey Nicey, I just got my 1st fill last thursday 2 CC. The only thing I have noticed is I am not hungry which is good. But if I eat too much just get a real heavy feeling in my chest? Have never pb'd or even felt anything like that. So I guess I am lucky. How are you doing with your fill? How much did you get?

I see from your info your band slipped? Did they take it out? Do they know why it slipped?

Ok Folks, Got my 1st fill on thursday,2 CC don't feel any different but seem to not be hungry. But still want to eat, just to eat! My Band holds total 9CC. So how did your 1st fill effect you??

I just got banded on the 16th and i have not told my mom either, just gonna surprise her. You would think at my age i would not worry about what she thinks ,but always a kid when it comes to my mom. You are doing grreatt!!!

Howdy country girl, Me too! I am 45 miles north of St Louis. Just banded 4 weeks ago, doin Great, hope to lose enough to get back up on my horses without them giving me the dirty looks when I get on!!!

I was approved 3 weeks after submitting paperwork, surgery 2 weeks later

I have the realize band. Dr said no fill at surgery, but I still don't eat alot, tummy growls but just not to hungry. Which is nice. I get my 1st fill 10-23

I seem to get pressure if I eat too much, right at mid chest. I still am not eating much, just not too hungry. When do you get your first fil??
