I didn't own a real bra in my actual size pre aug. I was either in a sports bra, or stuffed a too big real bra. Pathetic lol! But I was most likely an A.

Huh?! Never heard of anything like that with mushrooms. I’d think since they hold moisture that they wouldn’t crisp up? I love mushrooms so I’m interested!!

101 to be exact. Just unbelievable that I've lost that much in less than six months. Went from 44 jeans to 34. BMI started at 44 and I'm down to 30. I'm so thankful that this was available to me.

Maybe they were stating that this was an obese patient. Was. Remember where you were and look at where you are now and the long way you have come. Don’t let a word get you down and discount all this work and success you have done and accomplished!
You are doing AMAZING!! Great job and keep it up. This is the start of the rest of you life!!Congrats and great job! Keep it up!🥳

Steak Bites swimming in melted herbed butter, roasted mushrooms and Creamy Mushroom Soup.
The two pics on the right: had 4 steak bites (90g), 3 mushrooms & 3/4 cup of soup, + some red wine:
    470 calories (ate/drank it all)
The steak was unbelievably delicious (it was Mr.’s doing ❤️)..: if I could have, I would’ve eaten much, much more. Eff you sleeve AND Thank You sleeve at the same time, lol

Per husband’s request, a Keto take on chicken parmigiana (no breading on chicken). It was delicious with Caesar salad. I had one small chicken breast cutlet with the sauce and cheese, plus some salad. 😋😋

Fresh Salmon is great for breakfast. I make it in two ways.
    1. Simple ....bake or poach it. Brush it with olive oil, ( I use a little butter ). sprinkle w/mince fresh herbs: dill weed is my favorite but oregano, sweet marjoram, parsley, lemon juice, and season with a light touch of garlic/salt/pepper. Top it with poached egg dusted with Parmesan cheese. Add a side of asparagus sautéed quickly with olive oil and lemon juice, seasoned to your taste.
    2. Salmon patties....Recipe: Poach fresh salmon filets and remove the thick skin. Flake the salmon into course bits. Mix with minced celery, sweet onion ( green shallots, diced sweet red pepper, opt.), Tablsp light Mayonnaise (opt), herbs and seasoning. Mix with 1 or 2 eggs and drop a serving size on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in a 350 F oven until the patties are firm to touch and slightly toasted on top. Quantities will vary according to your taste and number of servings.

Speaking of Falafel...tonight's dinner (but made in the oven, not the air fryer, boo)
Fam had it with pita bread, I had it sans pita: 1 falafel ball, a couple tbsp each of the hummus, tzatziki and tabbouleh, 3 slices of the fried potatoes; plus some red wine before hand: 503 calories for the food and the wine.
I had just eaten my giant leftover bowl of brussel sprouts from lunch a hour or so before dinner, so this stuff was more of a snack.
P.S. The actual falafel was super quick and easy, but all the "fixin's" took a good part of the afternoon.

I’ve never admitted these things to anyone, let alone on a public forum. You are not alone though. I’ve struggled almost all my life with chronic illness (immunodeficiency) starting in childhood, developing many medical conditions and symptoms over the years, disability, metabolic disorders, always fighting my weight, my self image, being on the autism spectrum, adhd, ocd and so on. But through it all, through a rough childhood. My own health challenges, my mother having spine surgeries and needing my help and support. I never had a life. I just have, I guess ... survived. I fought to lose weight alone - I guess it’s going on twelve years ago now if I had to guess. But never could hang on to it. I found myself losing ground. It was either fight for Bariatric surgery as a tool to finally help me or totally give up.

But will it fix the rest of me? Those deep rooted insecurities? My separation from the rest of the world due to chronic illness? I honestly cannot say that weight loss will fix these things. Especially not my chronic illness or disability. It’s like my doctor expecting miraculous changes when I just wanted to ease the burden on my body and at least be a healthy weight to better navigate.
it’s easy enough for people to say get out of your comfort zone. Been there done that, it’s gotten me nowhere but disaster and my chronic illness deeper into a decline. Of course this is just from my perspective. I’m not in a situation where I meet people. I can’t put myself out there. It’s not that simple. Nor is it Even for healthy people to do so.
I’ve never discussed it and I won’t even flat out say my own situation in detail either since this is a public forum because people can be condescending in their response to something like this. I remember someone once telling me that she thought I liked being stuck. As if I haven’t spent my whole life fighting every step of the way.
sometimes you need to just step back from yourself and take an objective look at the why of it all, what your hopes and expectations are, and where to go from there. Decide that you are worth it and take the leap forward and maybe you will find where you want to be.

yes - I do that every morning, too. For the most part, it keeps me from backing up - but on the occasion when I DO get backed up (maybe once a month or so), I'll do the milk of magnesia. And if THAT doesn't work, it's magnesium citrate time...

Same. I like the cookie and actually scrap the inside out and throw away. Although I really don’t eat them since my sleeve but a few times. They don’t do much for me. I have a huge sweet tooth so my list is long of other things lol

I have not but I NEVER eat at Burger King. I have never been a fan of BK. Even back in my fat girl days of eating fast food. Whataburger was my go to fast food burger joint.
FYI in case some of y’all haven’t tried this, Morning star has an awesome chipotle black bean burger!
The best burgers are the ones my hub makes me at home on the grill (of course bun less) but they are sooo good!
