    January surgeries?!

Sleeved on 1/15/19 and had my gallbladder removed 2/7/19 cuz I was throwing up for 2 weeks straight. I felt so much better once it was out and I’m currently recovering from it still.

    January surgeries?!

1 month post op now. Haven't weighed myself since 2 weeks where I had lost 40 but since then I was in the hospital for 5 days due to my gallbladder, had to have it removed. I never had acid reflux but since then I do and its terrible. Any advice? Also, since I was very sick during my gallbladder situation, I basically didnt eat for over a week and been recovering from that. Body and stomach seem very upset with me but slowly getting better. Anyone else gone through something like this?
  4. Update: had to get my gallbladder removed. Was in the hospital for 5 days.
  5. My RN said it was the sugar. Says to drink lots of water and that it'll pass. Still throwing up every 2-3 hours, multiple times each sitting. I feel awful. Just want it to stop
  6. Help? Should I go get checked out? I'm 2 weeks post op and both my mother and I mis-read and understood that I could have juice. The second I drank it, not even 15 minutes later I was running to throw it up, and have been throwing up every 5-6 hours since. Not sure if this is something that will pass or if I should go get checked out. Any advice?

    Motivation to eat

Thank you guys! Right now I'm 2 weeks post op and I feel nauseous just at the site/smell of food. Also just started my puree stage so hopefully that will help. Thank you guys, I appreciate your comments.
  8. It sounds so silly to me that before my surgery, I would constantly be eating and now, I struggle to even drink my water. Which I know is so unhealthy for my body. I was wondering if any of you guys struggle/struggled with this? I'm so beyond not hungry that I can go the whole day and not have anything. I know setting alarms help, but truth is, it's on my mind to consume things I just don't really want to since I'm not hungry. I am slowly doing better but I wanted to reach out to you guys because well, I don't feel so alone with you guys! I had my surgery Jan 15,2019 and I'm almost 2 weeks post op and about to start the puree stage.

    January surgeries?!

Yeah I'm in the same boat, I think I'm struggling so much mentally since I'm not chewing anything that any food I see I'm like "yes I want to eat that" but just to chew it. I sound crazy oh my.

    January surgeries?!

Had my surgery 1/15. How is everyone that has had it so far feeling? Is anyone else having any mental hunger? Like I look at food and I would love to eat it but I'm also not physically hungry at all. Would love to hear how everyone else is doing, it's nice to know you're not the only one going through these lifestyle changes.
  11. I'm feeling pretty well. I'm currently not on any painkillers as all I'm feeling is a bit of discomfort with some gas, which walking has helped with. Just anti reflux and anti blood clot shot for medication (which i didn't know about, but you take a shot in your abdominal area for about 21 days. Doesn't hurt at all).
  12. Well, I'm 3 days post op and I've had such a wonderful experience with him. I would strongly recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery, he's amazing.
  13. I have surgery with him on January 15th. My experience so far has been fantastic. I'm excited!
