Thank you!!! I had the survey Wednesday morning and came home yesterday. Honestly this isn’t as bad as I thought it would be at all. My doctor and his staff are VERY much on top of the pain management and it is helping. I can get up and down ok alone, my husband helped me take a shower for the first time. He didn’t tell me how much he took off but he showed me picture. Holy gross!!!! I’m very happy I did it and recovery is totally tolerable so far!

Hi everyone! I was converted from lapband to gastric sleeve on 10/1/2018. I have lost 67 lbs going from 227 to 160. My goal is 155! After lots of consideration and advice from doctors I went again and got a full Tummy Tuck and breast lift on Wednesday! I am sooooooooo thrilled, I never though I would be here in my life. Everyone keep up the great work!

I was 227 before I started my prep diet 10 days before surgery...On the date of my surgery I was 213 I am now 166...Some of the weight I lost it was very quick but there are numbers like I was stuck at 194 for a month, I was stuck at 186 for a month, and I have been stuck at 166 for about 2 1/2 weeks.....So don't be so hard on yourself it will come off, some months are easier than others!

Congrats to you as well! It feels nice to be so close to goal but still doesn't feel real. I am a conversion from Lapband and my weight was never this low and still cannot wrap my mind around it. So my advice as far as plastic surgery.....Research, Research, Research....I have been looking into this for awhile because I knew at some point I would have it done, I didn't think it would be 9 months after surgery. I knew, no matter what, I wanted a Tummy Tuck and breast lift. On top of being up and down with so much weight, I have also had two pregnancies and breast fed both babies. My boobs a huge flat saggy pancakes that hang to my belly button. I thought I would have my boobs done first, then tummy tuck but I decided, after several consults with different doctors, I am going to do both together. I am also a candidate for an arm lift, inner thigh lift, and lower body lift, I said no **** lllllllll......Those are not my priorities in any way and not sure I would ever consider them...I just knew I wanted my belly and boobs...They are awful in my opinion so I will do both together, which typically both are done together if people want both, no safety issue for having to have two surgeries....

I am exactly 6 months out and I have lost 61lbs from when I started my pre op diet and I have lost 47 since surgery. Overall very happy with the 61lb weight loss. I am currently 166 and my goal is 155, so 11 more lbs to go! I just scheduled a Tummy Tuck and breast lift for July so that is motivating me to lose the last 11lbs. I definitely am at a stall with this weight, It it interesting the numbers I get stuck at. I find my biggest challenge is motivating to work out, I still and have always suffered from depression and anxiety and the weight loss hasn't helped much. I do work out just not as much as I would like so working on that. The other challenge I find is going out to eat. I have always loved to do this with friends, family, hubby etc. It is so hard for me not to drink Water at a restaurant! There isn't enough time between drinking the water to when your food comes and that sucks for me! Otherwise I haven't lost any hair and labs are perfect so doing well! Congrats to all

You’re not being dramatic. It’s a major trauma to your body and everyone has a different tolerance for pain. Try the meds, stay hydrated and walk as much as you can (this helps with the pain a lot) and rest as much as you can in between it will get better. I’m only one day ahead of you and today was the best day I’ve had so far. If things get worse or unmanageable call doctor. Hang in there and feel better!!!
  22. Congrats!

My first week was horrible! I went in for the sleeve and they found a large hiatal hernia which needed repair and I had a ton of scar tissue from the previous lapband that they removed. So I was very very nauseous. I had surgery on a Monday 10/1 and Friday I was back in the hospital for iv fluids. I was in so much pain and so nauseous I couldn’t drink. I went back to work the following Monday (I had no choice) and I also have 3 kids. So I have been tired and definitely pushing it a little too much but doing a bit better. Adding some substance other than fluids helped my nausea. I’m down 26 lbs (14 from pre op and 12 since surgery) pretty happy just wish I was stronger. And my back is killing me also still!!! It has been a roller coaster! I hope you’re doing ok and feel better.

I would like to update everyone on my pre op liquid diet because I posted a couple days ago freaking out. First I am going to say if I can do this you can all do it!! I think we are all similar in som way to our issues with food but trust me I thought I was going to die. I cried and cried and cried the day before and the day I started. It hasn’t been easy but it is getting easier!!!! First day I think I was in shock! I went through the motions not realizing what the hell I was doing. Days two and three I struggling baddddddd. My body was clearly detoxing from all of the crap and I was feeling it. Day 4 I was super emotional and didn’t feel great but not as horrible as day 2 and 3 but was still upset because I didn’t think t was going to get better. Yesterday was day 5 and today day 6 and at this point it would be ridiculous for me to “cheat”. I can’t believe I’ve come this far. I can’t stay on a “diet” for two days but I can do full liquids for 6 days???? My doctor requires full liquids and nothing with chunks at all, not even Soup so he is pretty strict. I’ve lost 8 pound and my surgery is in one week. I also have a husband and three kids that i grocery shop for And cook for. It has been a challenge but is getting easier every day. You can all do it trust me!!!!!

I was sleeved on 10/1 and physically I feel fine as far as pain but I just don’t feel right. Nauseous and starving to death and lightheaded. I have been such a with because all I want is food. I am going crazy on liquids but I feel like I want to puke when I drink but yet I feel like I could eat a whole pizza at the same time. So many emotions and questioning my choice to do this. And yes I totally have chewed food and spit it out!!! Ugh this is so hard

I understand. I am mourning food. I genuinely enjoy going out to eat and drinks and now I feel like I don’t even know what to do. I am hoping it will get easier
