Thanks for your honest post. At 6 months out I see this can be a slippery slope and agree this is only a tool. I think you are correct, many think this is the easy way out. It sounds like you know exactly what to do. 10 pounds is fixable. You have got this!
-
I have also seen the protein water at Sams. Hopefully you have one close and they are still carrying it.

You look fabulous! So motivating.😊

I was sleeved 7/11, have lost a total of 57 pounds since pre op and surgery. I would guess I eat about 900-1100 calories a day. Still working on getting in all my water.
-
I was off 2 and half weeks and felt that was the perfect amount of time for me. I have a desk job.
-
They carry the Protein2O at both Sams and Walmart. At Sams it is a variety pack and Walmart has the four pack in a specific flavor. I prefer the coconut so I chose to buy it in the four pack.
-
Glad it all came back fine!

I remember feeling hungry the first several weeks and being concerned the surgery didn't work for me. Now several weeks later I don't feel the restriction I expected more like I am comfortably full and lose interest.
-
That is great! Congrats!

Hi Dfox1984, I wondered if you had any update on your bruising? I ask because I was sleeved 7/11/18 and have been noticing quite a few bruises on my upper arms. I tend to bruise easily and did before but even more so now. I follow up next month with my Dr. and will ask of course but wanted to check in with you or others as well.

How do you get in enough fluids and Protein post op?

I agree with Sleevedllama, I love the Protein20 water. I pick mine up at Walmart and the coconut is my favorite. -
I am almost 6 weeks out and finally not feeling hungry most of the time. I was starting to wonder if the surgery didn't work for me. In the last couple of weeks I feel like my appetite has greatly decreased. I agree with others, I do better with high protein, low carbs. It keeps me full much longer.
