It took time for my stomach to settle in also. And still having to eat sooooo slow is the killer part.

    *** September 2018 Sleevers ***

Welcome Hachidori! Believe it or not you are NORMAL!!!! Mine was 9/17/18. Pounds flying off before surgery and now just creeping along. It's a frustrating feeling. But we all have to remember it took years to put the weight on and to safely take it off, will take time. Have to keep the eye on one year out.
  5. I have BC/BS in NC. My guidelines pretty much say the same thing. But I had documented history with my doctor's going back years, that they filled out and say's yes to the V. Sleeve. I also have 5 months with a nutritionist the year before. When the W L center filled out all the forms and also entered the Physiatrist evaluation it went thru with no problems. But if you have to do six months W. Loss don't loss to much and take that chance of not having it done.

    September bypass buddies??

I sooooo feel your frustration. I went thru it too. 3 weeks and the scale not moving. I just posted that on week 4 the scale moved. I asked the doctor and he said it ok to step on the scale everyday but you have to keep your mind that it is only a data entry. You have to look at it as data and what is the big picture. A week out , month out, year out. Our body's change every day. Holding water, bloating, gaining muscle, to many things can effect our weight. When the doctor looked at my weight he said it is moving down not up! It so does freak our minds out when we have been seeing the scale move daily and now our bodies is adjusting to a new way of living. Our new goal is to get more water and protein in anyway we can and just consecrate on that only right now. I set my goal for my daughters wedding in Dec. 2019. Look out Hot Dress!

    post op stall now moving

Thanks I do. I love the Baritastic app. Congrats on your weight loss!!!
  11. Today is 4 week post op from the sleeve. I had a 3 week stall on the scale. Talk about frustrating. Don't know if it was my doing or just recovery time for the stomach. But it finally move on the scale today. Went to doctor today and I thought it's like when you bring your car in for service and everything is working just fine. LOL But the Doc said tracking it daily is ok but look at it as an average. What is the average weekly, monthly. Do not get hung up on the daily because it could be anything from holding water, bm, more muscle's. So tracking the average loss per week or month is a better guide of how you are doing. So that is a relief that nothing is wrong or that I'm not screwing it up! Learning to eat as slow as Molasses is the next chapter, when you are full pretty much all the time. Stay strong everyone. 😎👌
  12. I'm trying not to panic. I'm thinking of everything what I'm doing, is it right, wrong? What is going on? First couple of days weight is coming off just like before the surgery. Having hard time getting in all the 64oz. water like before. Taking me an hour to get down the 8 oz. protein shake, on 3 shakes a day now. Tried moving on to the puree food and the only thing will keep down is creamy soup. Tried smashing down, tuna, hard boiled egg. Nope came back up. I tried cottage cheese and ricotta it will stay down. Someone had said that maybe your intestine is inflamed from the cheese. So I stopped eating it and after 4 days went down one pound. So I'm not doing any dairy products now. I guess I have to wait till my next visit with doctor on the 17th. I just don't know, maybe my stomach is a slow healer and needs more time? I just want to move on to the meal plan schedule and not feel so full every time I drink one sip. Thanks for listening to me get it off my chest.

    CONSTIPATION!!

Most grocery store should have it. Called Traditional Medicinals Smooth Move. I found it at Earth Fare.

    CONSTIPATION!!

I can't handle taking another pill, so I found a herbal tea call smooth move. It counts for 8oz of water to your goal of 64 oz a day. Which I still have a hard time to reach. But I drink the tea at night and in the morning BM.
  21. Well still nothing changing. I tried add pureed food and got sick on Sunday. Was not able to keep it down. Waited 2 hrs. Then had a protein shake. Had some hot tea called smooth move, yep no movement there either in 4 days. Stomach wants nothing to do with food. Driving me crazy. I just read that someone started using the vitamin patch and / or the liquid vitamin ones and got out of the stall and back on track. Sorry I did not respond on sooner. LIFE

    September bypass buddies??

I'm right there with you on this to this day. Eggs and even the Ricotta Cheese stuck in my throat. Even felt like someone had stabbed me in the chest. Just had to wait it out and slip small amount of water. Everything is still swollen and it needs more time to move to the next step. Cottage cheese is working for me the small curds.
  25. I see all these different types of rulers that mark their weight lost and goals at the bottom of their response. Where do you find that?
