You nailed it. It's not as simple as "Just do it "no matter if you feel like it or not. It may mean digging deep and finding what got you to your height weight and confronting behaviors that are holding you back. May be time to find a counselor/therapist to get you over this hurdle. Get help even if it's hard..Even if you don't feel like it. Overcoming the mental battles can be the best gift out of this surgery.
Keep us updated. This is not the end of your story. It's the beginning.

    SIDE NOTE:
Your post is very important for people making the choice to have sleeve surgery. Many of your points are not stressed enough by surgeons. Yes, you will still have an appetite and will be able to consume more food month's/years out.

Good that you have insite after looking at your own macros. Dialing in your diet gets frustrating, right?
After you change up your diet. Let us know if things change
If there is no change - 1221+ seems to be your maintaining calories. An option to try. Dial your daily calories to 1100 for two months consistently to see if this puts your body in weight loss mode.
Ugh ! I hope you see the scale moving soon:-)

I'm at a loss if you have tried both calorie ranges and hit your macros consistently with no different results. I understand the frustration.
What has been you average calories for Jan 26th to feb 1st ? Your gaining and losing the same 4 pounds for 6 months, sounds like you are consistently eating your maintaining calories. Goto you average calories tab. Can you post it like your chart above ?
Your chart says you average more fats than Protein are you doing Keto? Either do keto or low carb consistently.

I have lost a regain. We can get a bit complacent years out. Motivation/inspiration is personal. What works for me may not work for you. To put your mind in a more positive frame listen to the video below.
It starts today. giving in, procrastination and excuses won't burn calories and help you lose weight

    Some basics:
Make a goal and set a plan.
Adding carbs and sugars make you crave them more. Get all temptation out of the house. Buy healthy food with healthy sweet and salty options for cravings.
Log your food on an app. stay within your calories and macros for each day.

Healthy_life got a reaction from DWentz in (VSG) To those who were successful..
Success can be many things. We all have our own goals and walk with surgery. My advice is to follow your plan. Repeat until this lifestyle becomes habit and feels normal. Be your own amazing. The first few months is your best surgery restriction and weight loss. Take advantage of it. As you progress out you will notice that your restriction is less and weight loss slows down. Keep your food within your calories and macros even when your surgery restriction becomes less.
Comparing weight loss stats will make you crazy. Habits and behavior changes will make a difference in your weightloss outcome and long term success.
My surgery was June of 2014 - HW 254 - SW 234 - GW 140 in six months. I maintain in the 130's I had a sixteen pound gain in my third year. I worked it back to my maintenance weight.
What did you do for food?
Nothing magic. I followed my plan. logged my food, stayed hydrated, and exercised to goal.
What's a sample of your diet like today?
Maintaining weight looks different for each of us. What works for me and my choices may not work for anyone else.
Did you do low-carb or follow everything in moderation?
You will make choices that will affect your long term weight loss success. I am carb sensitive pre surgery and post surgery. Low carb works well with my body physiology. I eat things in moderation now that I'm in maintenance mode. Everything moderation in weight loss mode depends on the person. For me, It's a slippery slope. Sugars carbs can slow/stop my weight loss.
What were your portions like ~3 months out, 6 months out, 1 year..etc?
Portions and calorie intake will increase with time. Keep things within your calories and macros to stay in weight loss mode. My maintenance does not look like others. I would hate for anyone in weight loss mode read my food log and think they are going to lose weight. My diet changes during racing season. (carb loading) When I choose to indulge and gain, I go back into weight loss mode to keep my weight in range.
What about exercise, when did you start it (if you did), and what kind did you do?
Started the day after surgery walking. Helps with the healing process. Your surgeon's office will give you a release to exercise more. Give them a call. I walked, did elliptical a bit of lifting for the majority of my weight loss. My choice to become athletic after weight loss is not for everyone. I lift and distance run. I'm a bad @ss grandma. *laughing*

Weight regain can happen with any type of surgery. Behavior change and the choices you make will be a factor in your outcome. There are many sleevers that have kept the weight off long term.

Healthy_life got a reaction from clsumrall in Do you feel more attractive?
    @Kay07
You should feel good about yourself. Eating healthy, 5K and rocking high heels.
    (1) So yeah I am working on that. Did any of you struggle with reevaluating your relationship with yourself? Do you view yourself as a project in the works?
This transformation is more than physical. I used my time at the gym or walking to process the mental side of WLS. I had to let go of all the negative messages from others and myself about my weight. I had to process how differently people are simply because of weight loss. I found that I was an adrenaline junkie love a challenge. I am also the same core person with the same values.
Interesting that many of us share the experience of not knowing how to take compliments. I was used to being invisible to the opposite sex. It's a bit unnerving when suddenly they are showing attraction. It takes time to get used to. Its ok to feel awkward
    my compliment scale
appropriate - Say thank you and move on. hilarious - They'll make great NSV. Please share them inappropriate /creepy - Depending on the situation I confront them. Know that it's ok to feel good about the way you look and feel. Have fun and experiment with clothing you want to wear. Find your own style. Life is short. Rock your bad@ss self.
We are all a work in progress. Never stop. Keep growing and changing in life.
    (2) For those of you who hit goal or are maintaining, did you decide that because you felt like you hit it, or because you hit the number you set? How long did it take you to feel comfortable in your new skin?
I pulled my goal weight of 140 out of thin air. I worked my program to get to reach it and beyond. Nothing magic, it was the work put in.
First year after goal. I hid from mirrors and cameras for years. I had to work on seeing myself smaller. I would still move around people as if I was larger and didnt want my hip to bump into them.*laughing* Just a bunch of small things like that. After the first year my mind caught up with the weight loss.

Healthy_life got a reaction from FluffyChix in Are there a lot of healthy foods you can not tolerate after surgery?
I agree with @James Marusek Has your mother talked with her surgeon? Vomiting after meals is not typical. This may be a medical issue.

I had sleeve surgery four years ago. I have never vomited after surgery.
I can tolerate all foods. including sugar (no dumping syndrome) This means I have to choose my food wisely or I will gain weight. I prefer and enjoy eating healthy food.
