Recent fill def made a difference but..

Such a fine line.... I was hungry and able to eat too much and now I'm full on a small amount. No stuck episodes just this night cough. I ordered a wedge pillow I'm going to try that and Waite or a week or so. If it doesn't improve then may I can get a tiny amount out, like .1 and that will help.

    Worried and Stressed

Hang in there. You're just a month out and your body is trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Make sure you're getting your water in!
  3. ❤️ my band. Congrats to you for searching for an option to get healthy no matter which you choose!
  4. I've had my band for 7 years now with success and very few problems. They weren't really doing sleeves when I got mine but my doc said if I would have walked in to his office today he would do a sleeve. That's what he mostly does now. I am thankful that I haven't had probs and had success!

  7. Hello banders! I've had my band a little over 7 years now. No problems except a small leak in tubing but it was fixed easy. Just wondering if any of your docs do a barium swallow maybe yearly or so just to check things out??

5 years + with lapband and happy

Been banded 7 years now. And I can't imagine where I would be without my band!! Sw 314 Cw 200. Am I where I really want to be? No,, and totally my fault. I've been keeping my band a little loose. I plan on going next week for a small fill to start losing again. Best decision I ever made was my band!!

    Blurred Lines, Blurred Perspective, Both?

    Thank you for the encouragement!
  10. At 7 weeks your body is still healing. Your band isn't providing restriction yet so unfortunately it all falls on your choices right now. If your doc has u on solids already try more protein at lunch. I would be starving if I just had a yogurt. I usually need a 3:00 snack of some kind Try not to go over 4 hours without some sort of protein..maybe this will help the starvation monster until you get restriction.....plan, plan, plan. Everything you will eat that dat including snacks...that helps me. Chin up You can do this!!

    Breakfast

Do you have a certain kind/flavor you use? I tried putting Beneprotein in my coffee and it just wont dissolve. Thank you all for all your help. I'm definitely new to the whole protein powder thing. i actually use the liquid shake. Usually chocolate fudge. I just pour about half shake and half coffee

    You can do this @@addy
  16. I don't necessarily feel pain but it's a sort of a pressure and then release as my food passes through. This signals me to stop for a minute and let it pass. This doesn't happen on every bite but occasionally. I do however keep my band just a little looser than some

    How often do you weigh?

I weigh daily. Keeps me on track. But you have to make sure you aren't one that will freak out if you've eaten good and the scale is higher one day. My weight can fluctuate daily. I try to record my weight once a week

  20. These look yummy! Following!
  21. everyone is very different in what they can eat. It will be trial and error for you when you get to a good fill in your band. Also, some people keep their bands a little tighter than others... some a little looser and rely on more self control.

    Are men and women equal....

    LapBand and snacks

If there is more than 4 hours before your next meal. You are probably going to be hungry. I know I eat lunch at 11:30 and I usually need a snack be fore my 6:30 dinner. So I try to eat some almonds or cheese and fruit around 3:30-4
