ttj3mom got a reaction from CapK in 6 Months and Stalled
I am in the same boat, same height and same weight loss, I stopped loosing around 9 months, it has been two years, I have maintained the weight, I still usually eat under 1000 calories and I do not loose, I have 60 more I want to take off. My hair did the same but finally coming back, I had a lot of hair so it looked straggly but didn't look bald, after 2 years it is getting more full.

Unfortunately it’s part of the whole ride!! I lost a lot a hair from about 4-5 months to a the year mark, it finally stopped. My hair is so thin on the bottoms but growing so eventually will be good again, until there extensions, tape in ones, work great, ask your hairdresser!

I don't know if most people are all or nothing...
I was more or less on the forever train to Sustainville. I was going to work every trick , hack and cheat code possible. Always.
But also live my life because I like being alive. I was doing this for life not to stop it but to propel it forward.
So I will he constantly revising the plan, reworking the steps, recommitting to new levels of the journey. If I stumble, it will not be the opportunity to join the "nothing",it will the time to remember why I started in the first place.
    Safe Journey 🎈

This chart really helps me and puts things into perspective when I see a stall (aside from listening to the pros like @sillykitty). Hope it helps you too

ttj3mom got a reaction from Frustr8 in Sick and thirsty and regretting
Hang in there, I am about 2 in a half months out, I felt the same way at 3 weeks, I did Iv fluids once a week starting at 3 weeks post op, I could not get enough fluids in and my blood pressure was low because of that, making me exhausted. I was like, why did I do this? I can now say it's going a lot better!
  9. Congrats!

Congratulations to you! Ya know what? As long as that nbr on the scale is heading downward, I’m not going to worry about how fast. I’ve lost weight fast quite a few times and it came back even faster.

Hello fellow sleevers. I have been on this site very little in the past couple of years but have logged in today to respond to a question. Since I'm here, I feel obligated to tell you all the things I've learned after 5 years.
    1. The people that told me my approach to living life with the sleeve was all wrong and that I would fail, gain weight in a few years, stretch my sleeve, and regret my actions are mostly gone now. I have seen a couple of them around but the most are long gone. Do not pay much attention to the know-it-alls. They know no more than anyone else and are just as likely to fail.
    2. Obviously you want to follow your Dr's instructions but don't get too hung up on strict rules and diets. If you make reasonable decisions and balance your good and bad food choices, your sleeve will do most of the work for you. I have eaten anything I wanted since day one. I try to pay attention to Protein etc., but I do not deny myself anything. You have the sleeve for a reason. Let it do it's job. Don't force it to hold more than it can and do not deny yourself the things that make you happy. Balance - just do it.
    3. WLS is much more than losing weight. It is getting to the bottom of the issues that cause us to compensate with food in the first place. Pay more attention to your mental well being than the numbers on the scale. Your long term success depends on it.
    4. Know that even after you reach your goal weight you will still be the same person with the same insecurities. Being thin changes nothing. If you did it for health reasons then hopefully those will no longer be an issue, but the person you are and how you feel inside doesn't change from losing weight. That has to change on the inside. No way around it.
    5. Know that once you have made the necessary changes inside and out there will be some people that don't relate to you the same or just plain don't like you anymore. Also know that what they think is completely irrelevant . Physical and mental changes for the better intimidate those with small minds. Don't give them a second thought.
    Thanks for reading.

@ttj3mom - too soon for fruit or crackers...
Try lots of Bone Broth with cooked carrot or sweet potato, white Beans and tiny amount of chicken pureed in blender, little spoon, eat slowly. Wait in between bites.

I was sleeved on 7/31. I have been eating egg drop Soup, creamy potatoe soup, very creamy tuna salad, creamy crab dip (made with imitation crab meat, ff cottage cheese, ff cream cheese, olive oil mayo, garlic powder, and a bit of horseradish). I've also had scrambled eggs with cottage cheese, sf popsicles, and mashed cauliflower.
I've been drinking 2 premier shakes each day and trying to get my 64 oz of Water.
