I have struggled with my weight most of my life. I have been able to lose small amounts of weight with a lot of effort.

My body seems to have it's own holding pattern, and now that I'm menapausal, it's even slower. In the last few years

I have been experiencing some health issues, such as severe sleep apnia, and most recently my A1C has gone up and

developed fatty liver. I am scared to do this surgery, after all it's a big decision, but more excited to see what the future holds.

I do love myself, but I am ready to take control of my relationship with food and improve my health!
