They say that there are lots of stalls as the body accumulates Water , then releases the fat with the water , sometimes even gains before losses . Don’t get discouraged !

True, but the zucchini (or I prefer eggplant) isn't ideal for the puree/soft stage.

Made it up myself. Just the same as a meat lasagna but with low fat ingredients and not Pasta. I used one pound of organic 85% fat free chopped beef from Trader Joe's. I browned the meat in a large skillet with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, clove of garlic and sea salt. I add some fresh tomatoes and Vittoria's Marinara a couple of tablespoons and cook until browned.I then used a pureer to make sure it had the right consistency (nice and smooth, no lumps). I ladled in the meat into a small cake tin. I covered the meat with a 4oz of low fat rigotta cheese (cottage cheese would work too). I them covered the rigotta with a few tablespoons of Tomato sauce. Then I covered the sauce with a thin layer of part skim fresh mozzarella and parmagean cheese. I then baked it uncovered at 375 for 45 minutes. When done let it sit on the counter for 20 minutes before serving. It is easy to make, delicious and went down easy and was very satisfying (even if only ate a few teaspoons). Even my kids loved it and asked me to make it again. Here's a picture of the leftovers:

So helpful ! I am getting sleeved this am, heading to the hospital soon. My doctor didn’t have me do the magnesium citrate - I’ve been doing a “mostly” all Protein Shake diet for the last 2 weeks. Am pretty used to not eating at this point !

I have a friend who went though the surgery and started to experience weight gain on only 1400 calories a day . She started working with a very good Nutritiomist and physiologist and started dropping weight while eating 2000 calories a day . She works out differently , heavier weight workouts versus cardio and eats some really different Protein rich things

You know with all I myself have and are still going through it stands to reason I am going to have a glorious Spring. And the first 🐎 I see when the grass greens up again without a grimace on its face when it sets 👀 eyes on me, I swear, I'm going to climb up and get my picture taken. Oh well, if all else fails, there are Merry Go Rounds, not real horseflesh but better than nothing. And I won't have to look for a retired plowhorse, or a Morgan, is it wrong to dream of a paint or Appaloosa? A bay, a roan? Yeah a roan , that way we would Match! Sorry Mamas And Papas but I'm "Equine Dreaming on such a Winter's Day!"

I struggled with the same issues , and was embarrassed at first, but ultimately ended up blabbing about the surgery to everyone . My parents and old college friend had been the most against it- but when I explained the technical reasons why dieting doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for me, and how important it was to me to be healthy and active , they all became very supportive . My fiancé is concerned we won’t eat and drink together anymore , but I have just said o will be eating like all the other skinny girls and what I put in my mouth is nobody’s business but mine !!! This is a great tool and a lifesaving surgery for many - being scared is normal but take a deep breath and a month from now I think we all will be so happy ! I am scheduled for dec 20!

I am doing it self pay in florida in December for $10,500

I am on vacation in Mexico , eating normal , but working out a lot ., plus enjoying alcohol cuz I know it’s almost over !

Having it in December , can’t wait ! Am 57 and glad to hear of the success for thosenofnyouninnuour 50’s!

I haven’t done my surgery yet but have a good friend who did it and what u describe is normal. She looks so amazing now , I can’t wait to do it . Chin up, u will look and feel great soon!
