Had my surgery yesterday. It's almost 2 in the a.m. Had alittle trouble breathing when I came out but it got better. Shoulders and belly hurt from the gas but I've been up walking. Just got my first popsicle YUM! Nurse said I'm doing better than any one on the floor. No pain except the belly gas. I was so scared but it's turning out very well!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Well I did it! Had my surgery. Now in room
getting ready to get up and walk. Went very well per surgeon.

One thing my surgeon brought up, and that it is only women who will do this to other women, we will encounter pressure from other women either not to do it, or later on how you are losing too much weight. Just thank her for her input, and stay the course! I'm very selective about who I have told because I know many who will try to dissuade me.

One kinda funny thing....
I keep raiding my daughter's closet. All those cool clothes I bought her that she never really liked...are MINE! LOLOLOLOL.
She has this one really awesome dark brown leather fitted blazer that I want...but so far she keeps clutching it and glaring at me.
"You can borrow it Mom. BORROW! Buy your own damned clothes, Woman! OH MY GOD, are you wearing my underwear?"

Save one of your favorites so you can take this kind of photo—Creek you can do it with those cargoes. I saved my favorite shirt too—I could belt it and wear it as a dress.

Nothing is wrong with you. She is struggling with her own issues and probably wants someone to "struggle" with. Just know this is your choice, and it's a private one if you want it to be. I would suggest telling her that you have made your decision and you are sticking with it. Me personally I would remove her from FB and other things and thank her for the "advice" but I am choosing another path.

HUGE improvement in my arthritis (RA & osteoarthritis) after WLS!

My doctor doesn't require it. He told me they have no way to verify whether we follow one or not, so they don't bother. He said eat as I normally would, just don't go crazy.

Plucky I've decided I have a love/hate relationship with Prednisone. I love the improvements but hate the side effects. I'm hoping we all see improvements in our RA after surgery.

Human Resources. This is waaaaaaay out of line. You're health is NOT a public matter and is not open for debate.
If you're getting any grief or think you're being discriminated against, go to HR.

I’d schedule it at the earliest possible date. If you try to accommodate everyone else’s schedule you will never find a good time.
