  1. This virus is starting to get to me.  I am still doing my exercise (running and walking the dog and strength training but I am finding that I am snacking more, I don't like this!!

Is this happening to anyone else? What are you doing to combat it?

      You'll do great, good luck!

  4. I had my consultation with my surgeon on the 21st of November.  The date of my surgery

is December 11 (my birthday).  I'm excited and nervous, it is getting real now.

  5. I am currently not as mobile as I would like to be but I am working on it.  My goal is to be able to walk my dog (she loves her walks), and to able to do active things with my husband.

  6. Are there any suggestions on beginning exercise? I haven't exercised in about 3 yrs.  I use to walk everyday twice a day about 3 years ago,  then I was diagnosed with cancer and my treatments were very aggressive and was bed bound 6 months (radiation in between the 6 rounds).  I need to get going again but need some help.

Walk, walk, walk, walk, then walk some more... then, start with a couple of water bottles in each hand and do arm lifts. If you want to get fancy, get an exercise band and use that for squats, arms, chest, and leg exercises. I have some exercise handouts from my exercise physiologist. I'll scan them and send them to you.

      You can do it!
