I was sleeved on June 14th. Had my 3 week post up check up this afternoon. I am down 25 pounds since surgery. I feel great. Dr. Says no pool for another week. Told me to keep doing what im doing. Blood test came back great. Still having trouble getting all my water in but doing around 32-40 oz not including my 2 protien shakes. So glad I am heading in the right direction with my health.

I am 8 days out and getting in about 40oz in. Not including broth, jello, or popsicles. Mostly Clear Protein drink. Had my post op visit today. Told me to increase my fluids. So hard because I like to gulp my drinks and I can’t do that. Sometimes I forget and take a big swig I pay for it very painful

I was the same way. Now I look back and think why did I put this off for so long.

Ty, yes one day at a time. Better every day 😉

5 days post-op now. Just started full liquids. Recovery not so bad. First 2 days was painful to get out of bed. Everyday was so much better then the day before. Stomach still tender and still a little painful to drink. Baby sips still.

8 days down on pre opt diet 6 more days till surgery!!! Liquid diet is rough in the beginning getting better. Made a big pot of homemade chicken vegetable soup. It has kept me satisfied. I add carrots, celery, and green onion to the broth. My husband and kids got the chicken lol.

I just stared my 2 week liquid diet. My surgery is scheduled for June 14th. Anyone else on the liver shrinking pre op diet?
