Getting my liquids in is getting easier, but still struggling with the protein. My small saving grace is I am now in puree stage, so I am hoping to pick up some protein that way.

I have a few powdered protein mixes. i haven't tried many of them yet. I tried 1 and it took me so long to drink that it began to separate from the water and grossed me out. I have heard of folks adding the unflavored brands to soups and their pureed food. Since I just began pureed, I may also try adding some to my foods.

Have you tried the powdered protein mix? I understand about not getting in enough protein, I have went back to having a protein shake in the morning for breakfast to get in all of my required protein, I use the powder, add 4 oz of lactose free milk, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter powder and 8 oz of water and lots of ice, that way it's not too sweet. I don't like the sweet pre-mixed protein shakes at all.
Not sure if you have a Vitamin Shoppe where you live but you can buy it and if you don't like it you can return for an exchange, which is a great policy I think.
Create your own shake and you will be fine. 😉
