I'm in the middle of bad Hair loss right now. Every time I run my fingers through my hair a few strands come out, and it comes out..not quite in clumps, but a ton whenever I wash my hair (every 3-4 days). I don't have bald spots (yet) and my hair was ridiculously thick to start with, so it's not showing much and seems to be coming from all over my scalp rather than a specific spot, but it still feels bad. I started increasing my Protein intake, and am taking Biotin and l-lysine. How long did the Hair loss last for those of you who went through it? I'm worried it'll keep on like this forever, every time I don't eat enough Protein or something, and I'll end up looking like I have mange. When did it start growing back in?

Did lose mine till my 5 Months only lasted for 3 weeks .My Health is a tad more important than my Hair . I could be going through Chemo and be completely bad .

Have you had WLS yet? My wife had the sleeve and she didn’t have any Hair loss. I think it affects everyone differently. Don’t freak yourself out just yet, maybe you won’t experience any hair loss?

My Dr said if you lose hair right away your malnourished.Myself I lost some at 5 Months out maybe for like 2 Weeks .Im now going into my 9 Month and it all has grown back .Heres the ? What’s more important your Hair or a long Healthy life ?

I was sleeved December 19. I have lost 21 pounds since I started the liquid diet before surgery. I am starting my soft diet tomorrow, and I am kinda worried. I don’t want to over eat, and I’m afraid that will happen. Has anyone found different meal plans for us sleevers yet? I would like to find different plans to help this soft diet along.

Mak up Meals and freeze , you will not over eat in the event you do it will come back up .

Happy New Years everyone, been having a tough 2 week period have been stuck in my first stall for the last while. But today finally scales started to move again. Dropped two pants sizes though now i'm a 38" waist. Reaching my goal ever so slowly. As many of you have also said I wish this would go faster.

Had a tough time with Christmas at home and all the food around have been keeping this private so pretty much everyone thought I was being a weirdo and not eating my food. I guess this is the hard aspect when you can't eat the same as you did before but its my journey and I will achieve my goal that I set out to reach just like everyone else on this forum. Heres to 2019 and a year of reaching our goals.

Happy New Years to us all :)

Patients is virtue weight didn’t come on over night it isn’t gonna dissapear over night .I looked in the mirror today and said to myself Damn now your thin enough to go to the gym ,like joe sad is that .
