Definitely not permanent. Just have to stay true to the sleeve and consistentOn 08/27/2019 at 11:49, GreenTealael said:
Amazing 💜 Thank you for sharing because this finally shows an example that regain does not have to be inevitable or permanent .

Hey everyone!! I had the sleeve done in June of 2018. I lost almost 60 lbs. My start weight at point of surgery was approx. 200 and I got down to 143 within 4 months after surgery. I then got pregnant and successfully delivered my baby boy on August 1, 2019. On day of delivery I weighed 174. Since delivery I’m down to 147 and it hasn’t been a month yet. The sleeve worked during pregnancy and even now. I monitored my weight and continued to eat good while pregnant. But mostly I’m never hungry.
I said all this to say that it is possible to be pregnant within the first year of getting the sleeve surgery and maintain your weight. Just monitor everything and remember to be as healthy as you can!
Below are pictures of before pregnancy at 143, me at 9 months and me today at 147!!!FYI: I had a csection so I’m sure I still have inflammation.

Thank you for that! I’m am not diabetic so this is great advice 🤗On 07/22/2018 at 10:06, allwet said:
for the most fat burning dont eat before workout and do your lifting first followed by treadmill for at least 30 minutes, longer if your up to it.
the reasoning behind this is to deplete blood glucose levels during lifting and force your body to access stored fat.
stored fat is always the energy source of last resort, survival mechanism, so dont give yourself easy energy and let your body break down those fatty acid chains for fuel.
you dont mention being a diabetic but i have caught enough **** from others about forcing down blood glucose that if you have diabetic issues just disregard this post

Let’s see some miniature progress pics from all my fellow June Sleevers! 😊
I’m 6 weeks out and 31 lbs down!! HW: 199...SW: 192...CW 168!!!!Fallinfast and Lala70 reacted to this -
I have about 5 weeks until my anniversary cruise. I have just been cleared to lift and do abs. I want to truly tone and continue losing. I’ve lost 31 lbs in 6 weeks but hoping to lose 23 more lbs to be at my goal. I am definitely happy with my results so far even though I stalled for the first time for 6 days 🙄 but I’m hoping the working out will increase the weight loss.
So I am open to all cardio, leg, arms and abs workouts!!
So send some suggestions my way please!!!Laura7 and Imanewme reacted to this -

You look great! My goal is 145 and I’m 23 lbs from that goal. I can officially start lifting next week. So I hope to get these arms and legs toned. But mostly my butt lol

That’s great!! It amazing me that I see the weight come off and reach miniature weekly goals. I haven’t seen the weight I am now since 2014 so I’m excited to break these goals!!On 07/13/2018 at 03:32, Biddy zz said:
Yep - I was a relative lightweight though! But was climbing back to my pre gastric band (10 years ago) weight after it failed, so got the bypass.
my initial ‘goal’ was 170, then when I surprised the heck out of myself by looking like I would hit it, I lowered it to 156 - my BMI= not overweight any more level. Hit that within 6 months. Now I am 149 and pretty happy!
I have been pretty single minded about sticking to plan, not pushing the boundaries around experimenting with dumping from eating rubbish food - my diet is really healthy almost every day - and most importantly, I am loving the new way of eating!
And the clothes - yeeehaaaaa

That’s awesome lol you did so great!!! The sleeve works if you work it as the tool it’s meant to be!! I bet you look awesome!!On 07/13/2018 at 00:27, Creekimp13 said:
I never thought I'd meet goal....and I'm literally one or two really big poops...from being at goal. LOL. A little over seven months after surgery.
Honestly? I thought I would have the average sleeve experience....and lose about 60% of my excess weight...and end up around 210. I'm a realist. Ending up with average results....sounded great.
The really hopeful part of me wished for onederland....I didn't really dream past getting just under 200. That seemed too amazing to be true.
To reach 170 in under eight months? it's surreal and bizarre to me. I'm shocked daily.
Once in a while we beat the odds. Who knew?

My goal I am about 20 lbs away from and hope to reach it in the next two months.

I actually just updated my current weight. I am now 169 and 24 lbs to goal so I’m actually ecstatic. My recovery has been great. After next week I’ll be off soft foods and will be able to lift so I’m excitedOn 07/12/2018 at 23:29, Missouri-Lee's Summit said:
I think it depends largely on how much weight one needs to lose to reach their goal weight. According to your stats, you need to lose 31 pounds to reach your goal weight -- and you're only one month out.
You might be surprised and exceed your goals. Wouldn't that be great?
Congratulations on the weight you've already lost.
How has your recovery been?
