    Hiccups

Does everyone get Hiccups after eating? I’m a little past 3 weeks (May 7 surgery) and it seems to be happening a little less. Should I expect this forever? CW 283 SW 310 HW 346 GW 210

    Hiccups

I’m on soft foods. It seems to come and go. Maybe I’m drinking too close meals? I’ll have to gauge it.

I started setting a 20 min timer on my cell to remind myself to drink. I can’t believe how little I am able to drink

    Any MAY sleevers???

Well surgery was Monday. I had narcotic free surgery and I’m not sure I’d recommend it... My blood pressure spiked for a while after surgery so I was in recovery a few hours longer than expected. The pain (which I assume was gas) was brutal and constant. My need to be a tough guy and unwillingness to risk the use of narcotics may not be for everyone. I took two Valium and two of my nausea pills. Tylenol was a lifesaver. I feel pretty good now with just a little bit of pain and spasms and the typical incision pain. Currently just using ice for pain CW 299 SW 310 HW 347 GW 210

    Any MAY sleevers???

Tenative May 7 date for me. I’ve been stalking this page for a while, but figured I’d sign up when I got my surgery date. I’m waiting for a peer to peer review before my insurance company will cover me. Fortunately my Surgeons staff has been very helpful in letting me schedule before we get final approval. This process has been considerably longer than I expected going in. I guess the additional time has given me the opportunity to do all the research I needed to make sure I’m making the right choice.
