@ChellNC I am 2 weeks also and have the same thing only upper right. Feels like the very beginning of a gall bladder attack but doesnt get any worse. -

Had my 2 wk post op visit. Down 24 lbs! Wooo hoo! -
Doesn't have to be animal protein, but protien of any kind. I agree protein should be higher than carbs. That is stressed before any wls.

I am 42 just had mine 9 days ago. I have always been overweight and thought I could eventually lose it on my own. Then, about a year and a half to 2 yrs ago my thyroid went wacky and I piled on approx. another 75 lbs. and knew I had to do something. -

Is that 26 just since surgery or does that include your pre op? -
I am curious of a few things. When do most people have their first bm post op? When does weight loss begin? Im on purees, will adding spicy seasonings hurt? And last, the only real discomfort i have is when i try to lay down and its only the one main incision, when does this subside?

@ChellNC Thank you! I am day 6 now. I actually gained approx. 10 lbs in the hospital and still have about 2-3 till i get back to where I was. -

@Megan Sadler my plan is one day liquid then day two straight to purees. @AEdoesRnY i was also bypass so that makes me feel alot better, thank you! @mercmerc I was told that i was not allowed to submerge my incisions in water until they were fully healed. Not sure exactly how long that is and it does stink. We have a pontoon boat and live near an amazing lake and im missing the last month of summer -

I am a little concerned. I am 5 days post op and just ate 6 oz of pureed food! How is this possible???? -
Try hint water. There is no sugar or sweet taste but it has just enough of a hint of fruit flavor afterwards. Its amazing. So far ive had the watermelon, blackberry, strawberry kiwi and pineapple. The pineapple was my least favorite but none were bad. Good luck!
