I had by bypass August 6, 2018 and have been doing great. I am starting to volunteer at the zoo were I live and I have so much more energy. I can actually put my shoes and socks on without almost passing out. I have wanted to be able to sit with my legs crossed for about 25 years and now I sit with them crossed all the time. I wish I could get to the gym more though to firm up all the saggy spots. I had my official 6 month follow up on Valentines day and was so happy with my progress. I am wishing good luck to everyone

I just heard this quote from a YouTube dude I watch @Mr Ben Brown. I first heard of him from a series he does called " Visual Vibes" . It's mainly just video with great music and great scenery of trips he's been on. I find him to be quite inspirational although I did not expect it when I 1st started watching his content. The video he said this in is called "a human in 2018". You don't have to know his story to appreciate what he is saying...... Anyway the quote is
"I was born into this world a human being, not a human doing"
We struggle with so many thoughts about the future or the past. What can we do to be better or what could we have done. JUST REMEMBER TO BE IN THE MOMENT. Not quite the point he was making but this was my interpretation of it.

Six months today. Weighed in at 249.7Lbs this morning. Doing well and feeling really great. I've been floating around this weight for the last 2 months at least. I wouldn't call my case a stall because up to date I havn't really done any work to get to this point. I walked for the 1st few months but since have not done any sort of exercise. I've thought about it a ton and planned but my lazy a$$ hasn't done a thing. I saw my NUT two days ago and although she's happy with my weight loss and progression she stresses that I need to start getting active. I know I do but really lack the motivation, more mentally than physically. Any tips on getting there?
Best to all of you and I hope it's going great for all of you!!!!!

I know I posted earlier but it was more a HAHA comment. Not trying to be an ass or the food police but it sure as **** sounds like a lot of EXCUSES to justify eating this garbage. These things have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid but why go through everything we have and will go through just to give in and possibly put us on a path to lose? You justify this then what's next? I'm tired of making BS excuses for my choices or why if I only have a little it will kill my craving and get me past this moment. 379lbs later and a hell of a lot of bodily pain and thankfully my eyes were opened. I won't say I will not cheat or give into temptation but I will try my hardest not to.
Just my opinion and I really hope to not piss anyone off or offend anyone. Good luck everyone, I really hope we all succeed on our journeys!!!!!

Almond Flour Cinnamon Rolls – Low Carb and Gluten-Free
Tender, moist, and perfectly cinnamon-y with a biscuit-like texture, these cinnamon rolls are a sweet Keto treat!
Course Breakfast Cuisine Breakfast Prep Time 25 minutes Cook Time 20 minutes Total Time 45 minutes Servings 8 cinnamon rolls Ingredients
    Dough:
2 cups almond flour 3 tbsp granular Swerve Sweetener or other granulated erythritol 3 tbsp unflavored whey Protein powder 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp xanthan gum 2 large eggs lightly beaten 1/4 cup butter melted Filling:
1 tbsp butter melted 2 tbsp brown sugar substitute I used Ideal 1 tsp cinnamon Cream cheese Icing
2 oz cream cheese softened 1 tbsp powdered Swerve Sweetener or other powdered erythritol 1 tbsp heavy cream 1/4 tsp vanilla extract Instructions
Preheat oven to 325F and grease an 8-inch round cake pan with butter. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, Swerve, whey protein, baking powder, baking soda, salt and xanthan gum.
Stir in eggs and butter until dough comes together. It will be quite sticky. Turn out dough onto a large piece of parchment, and then pat into a rough rectangle. Top with another piece of parchment and roll out to about 10x8 inches. Peel off top piece of parchment paper. Brush dough with melted butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar substitute and cinnamon, going almost right to edges. Starting with the far, longer edge of your dough, gently lift away from the parchment and roll up tightly towards you. Pinch the seam to seal. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut into 8 equal portions. Place in prepared cake pan, just barely touching each other, and bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until just golden brown. Remove and let cool 10 minutes. For the Frosting, beat all ingredients in a medium bowl and then pipe or spread onto warm rolls. Recipe Notes

@Martha88 It's a normal feeling for right now. You will feel it more often than not. Sometimes from eating too fast, sometimes from eating too much and sometimes from food that is to heavy. As your body heals and adjusts the feeling will not be as extreme. 4 months out I get the feeling when I eat too much but it doesn't happen often as I've learned my limits. Heavy foods sometimes still do it as well. Don't rush things and listen to your body. As time goes on things will work out and you'll feel "normal" again.
    Congrats and Good Luck!!!

Looking great bro. I'm an inch shorter but at my heaviest in March 2018 I was almost 20lbs heavier. At surgery I was 342. I've hit the 100lb loss mark but have been yo-yoing the past few months. Not too concerned so much as it was the holidays and I cheated like a BOSS (also have not started working out at all and havn't walked in months). I will get back on it but the diet for now is back on track at least. CONGRATS TO YOU SIR @nenes78 You've done great and I wish you only the best to come!!!!!!
