Wow! $105 for a year is a great price!
I personally use the PatchMD multi. I already take so many pills a day so that’s why I love the Patches. I am almost 3 years out. I have my Vitamin levels check each year & everything has always been good! They are about $23 a month with shipping but worth it for me.

Measure out your food. At 3 weeks you
should probably be having 3 oz per meal.
I’m 3 years out & still measure my food at home. Eating until you are full isn’t really a good idea.

I had RNY at 53 for medical reasons not related to obesity even through I was over weight. I lost 70 lbs in about 8 months.

Your surgery was just a few days ago. You don’t say what kind of pain you’re in if it’s from the incisions or the pain in your back from the gas. For me the gas pain in my back and shoulder last for about three weeks but that is because of some other problems that my body has. And it’s always the same no matter what kind of laparoscopic surgery that I have.

Did you do a pre-op liquid diet? If you did it has been days since you have eaten any solid food. It amazes me that people think they should be having a BM a few days after this surgery. At this point you aren’t taking in much food and it’s all liquid progressing to soft food.

Have you vomited a lot after surgery!?
My severe Hiata Hunias was caused by vomiting so much during pregnancy, I had severe Hyperemessis Gravidarium for both of my pregnancies & 3 miscarriages.
I hope the omeprazole helps control your GRED. I have to take pantoprazole for the rest of my life so they won’t come back & I had A RNY.

I used Magnesium Citrate (capsules) for constipation.
A naturopath started me on a combo of magnesium (citrate, malate, glycinate) last week to help with pain & getting a better nights sleep. I usually only sleep for a few hours because a different pain wakes me up every night! The 1st 2 nights I did have the best sleep I’ve had in a while!

Thank you so much for sharing. I had my surgery over 3 years ago but I love reading stories about others journey.
You have done great! Congrats for being in Onederland! I would love to hear about all of the things you can do now!
Stick to the basics & you will loose the weight. Don’t even think that one bite won’t hurt because before you know it it will be one bite here & there & then you will be back where you started from. You know how to eat properly now so stick with it!

This is something you should talk to your doctor about. As a nursing couple you need a certain amount of quality calories to maintain breast feeding if you want to continue it. There are also some meds you can take that are safe for the baby that can increase your milk production.
You could also seek out the help of a lactation consultant One helped me tremendously!
I wish you the best of luck with continued breast feeding if that’s what you want to do. My youngest & I were a nursing couple for 28 months & it was amazing to provide so much of the “good stuff” for so long.

I am down 45-46lbs. We were at the pool yesterday ( shirt still on) and people are saying wow you look good! I really wasn't expecting that yet but I guess it has started. Questions like what are you doing?...Answer---Not eating much and not drinking alcohol which is true. I have the right tool to get this done!

Yes, you need to take Vitamins after surgery. Taking vitamins isn’t a bad idea for most people.
I use the PatchMD ones. I take enough pills as it is & I don’t want to take anymore orally. My daughter takes the BariatricPal ones. Others take chewable children’s vitamins (I couldn’t stand those & a kid).
I had a RNY because I had previous surgery to fix a hiatal hernia that had failed & it was causing me a great deal of acid reflux again.

Talk with your doctor to pick the best surgery for you!
