I too will cruise 7 months after surgery. Don't worry too much about other folks. As for you Water decorate it with fruit and sip on. Don't let one event or one person undermind your progress. Have fun cause you know you will be looking fine.

Surgery can cause hormones inbalance but I'm not sure how soon after or to what extent. Try googling vsg surgery and hormones.

I know it might seem a bit desperate but I'm going to give it a go... I feel kind of alone even though I'm surrounded by people. I feel like I'm a liar because I can't be honest with anyone. I will be 60 this year and I am scheduled for a VSG on May 16th. I agree I feel better and younger just getting ready for this step in my life. Good luck and see you on the losers bench, we've got this!

This is majorly TMI....but seriously, folks....a bulb syringe and some warm soapy water....just a squirt or two...makes a world of difference. No straining, no cramps. Kinda gross for some folks, but I'm a little clinical about these things...and the instant relief without side effects makes it worth it to me.

I'm five weeks out and I still get that. Some days are better than others. The acid reflux, heart burn, and nausea are no joke. I'm at the doctor's office now for a follow up. My surgery was 2/27/18 and I'm down 30lbs.
