    Major non scale victory

Well guys, the seminar is Thursday and I'm a little nervous. Send me some virtual positive vibes! Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 209 GW: 165
  4. Welcome! I had the sleeve in April and I slept the first day I got home. I had someone with me for a week but didn't really need the help. I was able to do everything without assistance. It's really up to you. Good luck on this wonderful journey. Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 209 GW: 165

    Surgery tomorrow 7/27

I remember how I was... anxious, nervous, excited and scared. When I woke up the morning of surgery, I had a sense of peace and everything went fine. Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 210 GW: 165

You got this. Get a good night's rest and tomorrow this time, you'll be joining us on the loser's bench. I'll save you a seat. Good luck Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 210 GW: 165

    Major non scale victory

Definitely. I'm willing to share what I've learned. I was excited to eat two spoons of key lime tart for my birthday a few days ago. I've given up bread, rice, pasta and potatoes for a while... that was hard to do. Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 210 GW: 165

    Major non scale victory

Exactly. The doctors and nutritionists are great but sometimes you want to hear from someone who's gone through it. Thanks Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 210 GW: 165

    Post Op Insomnia

I suffer from insomnia also. I've tried every OTC medication known to man. My doctor recently prescribed restoril and after one night, I woke up with difficulty breathing (which is a known side affect). Back to square one.

    These stalls are no joke!

I just experienced a stall as well. I was frustrated and went back to the basics...making sure I had my protein and increased my water intake. Stalls will not defeat me!!!!
  19. I remember when I was on my liquid diet and didn't think I could make it. I had support from family and friends and they kept me motivated. The liquid diet is all mental...you can do it!

    Pre-op process

I went to the seminar in December and had my first appointment with the surgeon on December 27. My surgery was scheduled at my first appointment. It only took me four months to get everything done.

I had a hernia repaired at the same time... didn't even know I had one until I had my endoscopy. You'll be fine. Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 212 GW: 165

    5.5 weeks, 40 days Post-op

You are doing great! When was the last time you lost 28 pounds? Don't compare your weight loss to others and give the scale a break. Look for non scale victories... are your clothes fitting better, etc. Sleeved on April 25, 2018 HW: 258 SW: 238 CW: 212 GW: 165
