frust8 got a reaction from RhondaHigdon in Bariatric weightloss medications
And I am 72 and having a RnY, come on with me & we will show these young'ens how it's done. And we will do it with the Grace and class our mammas instilled in us. I'm a Buckeye, if I can do it surely the Southern Belles and the New England ladies of pioneer stock can do it as well! As the late Bette Davis said "fasten your seat belts, its going to be a bumpy ride!"[emoji12]

It's not too much for me. I'm a mild to moderate depressive and it was well written and gave some light on a under-understood problem. Thank you.

frust8 got a reaction from Greenfeather65 in Hair loss :(
How about Sally Beauty Supply or maybe also check and see if there's a website for Nioxin.?PS www.Nioxin.com, I went on Google and found them. And I think you can also access their products on Amazon. Hope this helps a little, not impossible I'll need them myself, I'm a redhead (born that way) and we start out with fewer hairs per square inch than blondes and maybe 50% less than brunettes. hair is like a boomerang, it will return to you when its ready to!

frust8 got a reaction from Iwantthis in Ulcer or erosion?
Probably can wait but you may stay miserable until you see him.FYI, I have a little baby ulcer which I have named Hector, I have no h.pylori so Hector came from too much ibuprofen chewing on my stomach lining. Gives me the same sort of pain, he gets especially peeved from coffee and some foods.[emoji26] And the little stinker enjoys reminding me he 's down there. I have to take Dexilant to keep him napping. [emoji12]

We all deserve to be in the normal bracket, worked for it, planned for it, even slightly rearranged our bodies to achieve it. Normal -yes, Average-no, average is as close to the bottom as the top. We will not settle for being bottom feeders, we are and will,be slim, trim and sleek! Power to Us All! [emoji106]

Fluffy,Mr F. is one lucky rooster[emoji215] to have you in his coop. And I am happy you are starting to see Onderland shining in the distance. Someday it will shine for ME I believe it and it will be so. Might not,be as fast because I'm Coming down off a higher weight ledge, I'll have to see Twoferville first but I believe I can achieve, even if it takes 12-18 months. I'll join you down there, as the old standard says "It's Only A Matter of Time"

What article @ Sosewsue? All I see is your post, that of[mention=14356]Fluffy[/mention] Chix and the statement that I'm going to love something. Only Harry Potter was into invisibility cloaks. God knows I love many things in life but not a mystery I can't solve. So huh?

I think I can see a little Adele but. I also see a little of Jennifer Garner, so you're a singer and a movie star both. Pretty cool!

Haven't been back to see him since, figured at 72 and sexually continent at this point, dang it, not enough,is going,on down there to require a Pap test. If I had an unquenchable desire to have one My PCP could do it, and. Medicare wouldn't pay for one after 75 anyway because then they don't think it mandatory. And my PCP is pretty polite, if he isn't I call him "Junior" and he usually backs down. In fact he's one of my biggest cheerleaders when it comes to me having bariatric surgery. Said not only would I feel better about myself physically and emotionally, he' d like to keep me as a patient for many more years. He said that and then I swear, we both blushed, well at my age it could have been simple flushing but I accepted it anyway.

You look so,sad and tired on the left, so vibrant, fit and healthy on. the right. You look like you could be relatives but the same person--WOW. You now validate, all the trials the struggles and the ultimate victory of Barialtric surgery in your life. You inspire me to continue my own journey to a Bariatric Rebirth this Spring. I will commit myself to be the success you have been. Thank you for your own testimony.

frust8 got a reaction from Frustr8 in Psoriasis, any improvement?
I have a small patch on my lower arms, I worried at my age it could be skin cancer, my PCP just let out a small giggle and said it's just Mr P showing up again. I said I may just kill you Junior, he's like 45 or 46. I really do like the guy, I'm just enough older I want to rein him in.

frust8 got a reaction from Frustr8 in Psoriasis, any improvement?
I too have psoriasis, haven't had my surgery yet.You bring up a good point, since it is an auto-immune disease it easily could improve. I even have, psoriasis in my nailbeds, makes them slightly misshapen and I have putting if you run your fingers over the nail surface. I have a good friend who has it much worse than either of us, his arms usually look like alligator skin. He has creams to
help, with it but seldom used them. Says it's too much of a bother. Did you know we share this disease with Cyndi Lauper, the singer? Truth! ,,,,,,,,,,,,i haven't had my surgery yet, if I do I'll be sure to let you know if I do. In the meantime welcome to Bariatric Pal if nobody ever bothered welcoming you.
