I would say just before Years End or in the first days of January. But What a Wonderful worthwhile Way to start the Year of 2020.
And all of us will be praying for you and a Bright Bright Future.
And I am not sorry for MINE- if you went back and read my journey you'd see I was eminately qualified to be bitter with all my freaky unexpected twists and turns. But it's been 16 and a half months, like the Big Lebowski in the Movie "I ABIDE" and joys do outweigh the sorrows, I'm now less than half the size I was when I started, smaller than I was at 14 or 15, which was nigh on to 60 years ago, I don't recognize me in the mirror- somebody accused me last week of trying to pass my sister's ID- difficult when You're an Only Child- yep That's Me THERE, just 180+ pounds ago. So it is a Brave New World but I think I'll see how LIFE goes on! God Bless Darlin' and keep us updated, you hear?😝👍

Start being a squeaky wheel. Call your team daily. Maybe even nicely let them know that you are getting annoyed having your life put on hold like this.
Seriously call daily for update. Hopefully they will process you just to stop the calls. You are paying for their service so they work for you.

Maybe you failed the psychologist evaluation . They use that to deny Medicaid patients when you pass every other test all the time..

Has anyone progressed to the point where you can drink something during your meal. I still loathe the thought of not being able to wash something down.

Once I progressed to regular foods my surgeon said a couple *small* sips during meals is fine. I might have 2-3 sips during my meal.

Could it be a inner weakness because you're just recovering from major surgery. Even if you feel pretty good it still rocks your world to its foundation. So a reaction could be altogether possible.

Hi all, I had the sleeve done at the end of August and have had major complications from an undetected leak. We're talking I was on death's door but due to many prayers and wonderful doctors I'm still here.
Been in the hospital since Nov 5th, doc says no matter how he does it I'll be home for Christmas, I'll just have a feeding tube so there's some good news. Just have to come back after the new year to finish fixing myself up.
Anyway, one of the possibilities and the end case of all this is that they would have to remove my entire stomach and attach my esophagus to my small intestine. Is there anyone who has had their whole stomach removed? The doc makes it sound like it's no big deal but it just seems like a big freaking deal to not have a stomach at all.

I woke up from surgery to find out that I had no gallbladder and no stomach. They only left enough stomach to make a small pouch. I feel good now though.

Wow, that must have been a shock. Is the pouch smaller than it would have been for say a "normal" bypass sized stomach?

I am not really sure of the size, but I have my three month follow-up next Tuesday and will ask then. I don't have a lot of sensation in my pouch, I rely on slow eating and a running nose to help me know I am full.

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I did hear if another person ( different forum) that was going to have to have this done. Not sure if she has or not though.

I have no info to share. Just wanted to wish you luck.

You are literally bet your life without it, not a good plan. As the widow of a gambler, who thought he could BEAT the system, I learned the system and the " House" alway stack in THEIR FAVOR. Surgery levels the Playing Field as little else xan!

Same day for me. I worry more about the anesthesia than anything. I had surgery before but I’m a mom with a small child. So I worry about everything.

Wow. It’s so annoying. They already send me the bill 😩 but insurance will cover it all. It turn out that the doctor did the papers with me and I waited for the secretary to fax it and confirm it. I called the hospital to ensure the received it and also got a hard copy just in case. The hospital had to fax it 3 times to them. It’s just unprofessional. At least it was not canceled.

While scrolling through past postings I noticed there is" Guys who started over 400lbs" in the Guys Room. Well I believe if there is" gravy for the 🐔rooster" there certainly should be "gravy for the🐔 hen " especially those of us with meatier🍗 drumsticks. Are there challenges we face that aren't faced by our 200 lb sisters? Do we tend to lose weight faster or slower than smaller🐣 flock members?
