Wow! My surgery was on March 5,2018. My intial weight was 197 lbs with height at 4'11".I was first denied then approved after being diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea as well.My surgery weight was also 189lbs.My current weight is 169 lbs.My goal weight is 135-140 lbs. Hi, March 5th too..Surgery went well.Sore at site where stomach was removed from.Had to get pain medicine twice since surgery.Was up and walking an hour after surgery and getting ready to dress, groomed and get back at walking. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

I had a BMI of 38 with a diagnosis of high blood pressure and was initially denied because my blood pressure was controlled(with bp meds) and my bmi was only 38..but I then went for a sleep study and was diagnosed with moderate obstructive sleep apnea.I was approved within a couple of days.I have UHC Community Plan.Best wishes and stay hopeful!! Hi everyone, my surgery date is scheduled for March 5th.I am new to this site.I have to lose 6-10 lbs prior to surgery(sleeve).I have only lost 3lbs so far.I am thinking about starting on a liquid diet NOW.I have cut down drastically on carbs and watching my fat intake.I am walking at least 30 minutes a day.Any advice?Congrats to all!!
