Hi again. The meds only helped as long as I was taking them. As soon as I stopped the problem came back. Is this devrom safe? How long can you stay on it? Is it for life?

Lapband to MGB surgery done and feeling good
Loriey posted a topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I had my revision done on August 27. Absolutely no pain. The only problem I had was nausea afterward. I don’t handle narcotics well. I ended up dry heaving for the first day. But day 2 hit and it was all forgotten. I’m doing well, following the all the rules therefore swelling is going down and a few pounds down already. Starting to get energy. Looking forward to the next 3 weeks. -

Good morning, I go in for MGB on Thursday this week. I've been on the shakes for 11 days but only lost 8 lbs. I did cheat with one pizza crust and some potato chips. (just this in the 11 days) I drink more than enough water throughout the day. I am getting scared that if 'm not losing on Optifast, what if I don't lose anything after surgery? Has anyone else gone through this? Is this normal? I've seen where other people have lost twice this in the same amount of time.

Lap Band Revision - Sleeve or Bypass?
Loriey replied to Loriey's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Hi INEEDABUDDY, did you have gastric bypass after removing the lap band? I can't live without some form of resistance. I need to have bypass after my band removal. -
Thanks for your reply. I’m just glad to hear I’m not the only one. I’m definitely not too tight because in the evenings just about anything can down. I definitely don’t want to get a de fill cause it took forever just to get to this point. I guess it’s just something I have to learn to live with
