Failing.....you had surgery a MAJOR surgery a few days ago. Most ppl dont have super easy recovery. Days 3 thru 6 can be the worst due to swelling and soreness. Walk, sip and lay on your left side with heating pad to expel some gas. Use gas X. You doing fine. You cant fail at surgery recovery.

I have tricare prime. There is a FB group called weight loss surgery with tricare. Spelled exactly like that. You can ask questions there and Katie will answer. She is a advocate

mckenzie....
We all freak a little. I try not to think about what they will be doing during surgery. I have faith in my surgeon. And I know he will help me and take care of me no matter what happens later. Most do not have problems. If i made it through a open hysterectomy which i had cut opened then this is doable for sure. We are all in this together.

My nutritionist did this. Eat or wear something heavy so it's not a issue.

Yes, I think most of us second guess. I have had those thoughts many times. I just know that this is my chance and to use this tool to make my life better. My surgery is not until July 24th

Ppl that are farther out enjoy these. I have made a few friends who still enjoy grilling out and eat. It is a much smaller portion and a healthy side dish.

And I grow more and more interested . Where in BC my mostest province with memories.? I spent the Bicentennial of Confederation visiting Vancouver,Campbell River and Quadra Island .
My little ears perked up when I heard you were or are there. Where will you have your surgery ? Are you, private pay or going through National/ Provincial Health Schemes? We once had LesleyBari who lived in the Rockies close to Alberta nut was flying to Vancouver for her surgery. Many have wished to visit the Yukon for its wild country,Me, my dream is to someday see the Peace River country for, myself. That was my romantic dream as a teenager and it still lurks in the back of my mind.I will be having mine in Vancouver as well, covered by our provincial healthcare it’s been a long wait, 3 years......but now it’s just around the corner........
Wow 3 years . Thats a bit of wait for sure. Oh how I wish I had more patience. I will be tapping my foot until my surgery date July 24 and started the process in Feb.

Did go over anything with me about the surgery I had to ask all the questions was not volunteered. It’s yo Kate to switch surgeons. I know a lot of women that had him. He is highly recommended but that’s the only thing they say he not a people person. And I love to talk. So I’m excited about my surgery also. I know it’s going to be work but I’m excited to see my body go through the different stages while losing the weight
You can change surgeons but make sure you dont have to redo your program or all the things you have completed. I got lucky with my surgeon. I am a military spouse and having this done on a military base. I had no choice in surgeon. He is just a great man. He is big on hugs too. Take care of you.

Understanding I am on a military base and they can see all your records and meds going back years. So he wrote me a script to take daily. And I will do so. I love love my surgeon. He gives out his cell number and actually answers. Hahaha. I am beyond excited. The count down is on. And no preop diet. Looking for a surgery buddy!!!!

My nutritionist recommends bean broth. Its broth so its not a problem. See how well its sits with your stomach.

Its the milk or magnesia still working. Seriously it should stop. Maybe switch to Miralax once daily. Have you gone to the restrooms alot with diarrhea or just once or twice. I wouldn't be to concerned since you took a laxative.

If your talking about gas. Could last a few days. Walk as much as possible, lay on left side when you can tolerate it, helps to expel gas from your body. Use a heating pad to help with relief
