I asked the surgeon at the 1 week post op and he said it is stitched to something with a dissolvable stitch and will eventually go away.

I took Dulcolax on the 8th day for the same reason. Trust me, take something now. It was awful going the first time. I’ll never let myself get that constipated again.

Help! If I even smell protein drinks I gag!

I’m one week post op today and for the past two days I cannot drink or even smell protein drinks. Also, I’m only able to get in about 30oz of fluids each day. I’m feeling pretty bad at this point and still have pain in the incision right above my belly button. -

I had my surgery yesterday (Valentines Day). I feel great!! I’m having incision site pain that got pretty bad last night for a bit but only where the stomach was pulled out. I’ve done lots of walking so I know that helps. ❤️ Best wishes to everyone! 🤗 -
