Hey, do Fiber crisp crackers with almond butter count as junk? Or essential necessaries?

Lillymunster reacted to Fluffy Grandma in NSV
Shopping in regular sizes! My Mom wanted to go shopping at Dressbarn. I wasn’t really looking for anything as I have a mountain of clothes to go through first. While she was in the plus size side of the store, I figured I’d wander over to the “regular” side of the store. Great sales this week so what the heck! I found a really pretty crocheted top with 3/4 sleeves on clearance in an XL. I figured I’d fit in it soon anyway so I bought it. When I got home I decided to try it on and see how far I had to go before It fit. Holy krap, it fit!! I started pulling the XL’s out of my closet and most of them fit. That was two days ago and I’m still smiling.

Surgery was on Nov 1st. I feel like my progress is kinda slow even though my family tells me it isn’t. I’m just glad the scale is still moving in the right direction. 🤗

Lillymunster got a reaction from FluffyChix in 3 months post-op
They are so frustrating!!!!!! I know my body is still changing, I lost half a shoe size in the last month and my ankles are smaller, but I really miss seeing that weight fall off.

Lillymunster got a reaction from FluffyChix in 3 months post-op
I'm 3 months post-op and things are ok. I've hit a plateau with my weight loss (which I know happens) but now I'm wondering if I'm actually not eating enough, my plateau has lasted a month. I get 600-700 calories a day and over 90 grams of Protein. How many calories did everyone get in at 3 months post-op? I have an appointment with my surgeon next month but until then I'm just curious.
Thanks

Lillymunster got a reaction from FluffyChix in Plateau - 2 months post op
I'm a little over 2 months post-op and I have plateaued. I know it is normal and the weight loss will start again but it is so frustrating. I lost 40 pounds in the first 2 months and now I'm losing and gaining the same 5 pounds. I'm following my plan, working out, drinking Water so I know it will kick in again but until them....argh.
My hair has also started thinning. I was told it happens around 6 months post op but mine started around 2 months. Anyone else have it start that soon?

Lillymunster got a reaction from linlew in I don’t dump
I don’t seem to dump. I haven’t tested it out by going carb crazy or anything but I can have a piece or two of dark chocolate or some starchy veggies and nothing happens. Not that I want it to happen but it’s an added incentive to not eat junk.

Lillymunster got a reaction from FluffyChix in 1 month post op pain
Hi. I’m 1 month post op today. No major issues so far but last night and today I have a sharp pain at one of my incision sites. It’s the upper right side. I have a call into my surgeon but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks

Lillymunster got a reaction from FluffyChix in Tight pouch days
Some days Water and Protein Shakes go down fine. Other days it’s a struggle. This am even small sips of my Protein Shake are making me gag and it’s taken me almost an hour to get down half. Is this normal?

broth seems to always go down easy for me. Almost too easy. I love the slush idea. Thanks!

Lillymunster got a reaction from sillykitty in Starving still... regret seriously increasing
So I have been starving and I’m at a week and a half post op. I agree with Fluffy, drink drink drink. Are you allowed low cal, low fat geek yogurt? Even a third of one really fills me up. I’m also learning to differentiate Head hunger from real hunger which is very hard. broth really helped me with the hunger. It felt like more than just Fluid.

Lillymunster got a reaction from FluffyChix in What is the most powerful, gut-exploding laxative I can buy OTC?
They had me drink 2 bottles of magnesium citrate the day before surgery. That stuff kept working for days.
