It definitely gets better. The first week, I kept a shot glass near me at all times, and filled it continually....Worked at getting as much as I could, but its difficult in the very beginnin. @carlyrose, I purchased a set of small silverware to stop myself from taking too big a spoon...That HURTS!!

I had the exact same thing for the first day after surgery. remember...everything is inflamed, and likely the diameter of a straw...tiny tiny sips....
