3X to 2X last week no today YES!!

I switched from 3x to 2x and some XL. Had to switch from 48 to 42 pants pretty quickly. And now they’re a little loose. Time for “slim” jeans next time too
  2. How’s everyone doing now? Still going well?

Meat def weighs down my stomach more also. 40+ is good. I had a 3 week pre-op diet and lost 20lbs doing that. I also had a week of stall, that really does suck. But I luckily got the flu last week and didn’t eat for 4 days so I guess that helped, lol. I feel like protein shakes just go right through me, meaning I don’t get full at all from them but I want to try drinking them faster. I think i drink them too slowly for them to fill me up. Thanks for all the good advise. Keep up the great work!

I’m kinda curious how much everyone is able to eat. I still can’t eat much. For lunch I had 1.5 meatballs and a few curds of cottage cheese. Not even a 1/4 teaspoon. When does the amount of food in take go up. I’d prefer not to eat every 2 hours or less. I already need new closes badly. Down 60lbs and I’m still I. Same clothes as before pre-op lol It’s bad lol

    The Stall

I hit mine about the 3 weeks mark as well. Went back to work and things got a messed up. Think I only lost 1.5lbs all week. Just get back to protein and lots of it, and you will rebound. Protein is the key rather than new foods

I’ll hold off for another few weeks and give it another go I think. I doubt I’ll stay away from it forever lol

I was also sleeved Nov 28th. I did try Pizza cheese and sauce around NYE but I actually didn’t enjoy it. The spices in the sauce didn’t agree with my new pallet. I tried the ricotta bakes earlier also and those didn’t taste good either. Maybe strange but I’ll live with it for now I guess.
  8. Things are going well. No more sickness or nausea for me. Reached 50lb loss milestone this week since pre-op diet. But my pre-op was 3 weeks long [emoji853] What food stage are you in? What types of things have you been eating? I switch to “full” diet Monday, so we’ll see how that goes
  9. How goes it for you now? Any better progress?
  10. Hey guys. I’m just about at 6 weeks post op and starting my “full” diet. Obviously not eating anything or everything in sight, but I’m curious about soup noodles and such. How drastically should I avoid those things. I’m not gonna have noodle soup, but if I have some in some chicken noodle soup is that the worst thing? I just got sick and my mother in law made me some homemade soup. Let me know your thoughts, please Thanks!

    Stomach noises

    Yup. Big time!
  12. Keep on eye on expiration dates. They’re no longer listed on Gas-X’s site so I assume production might have stopped a while back.

    Nothing tastes good

I’ve been having the same feeling. I’ve narrowed it down to a sour stomach. Mild nausea. Maybe ask your doc what you can take if you think that might be an issue. I took a bit of pepto and it help for a few. Doc has since sent me a script and we’ll see if that solves the issue more long term.
  14. I agree with most people. I’d say chapstick and toothbrush/toothpaste. I tried for weeks to find Gas-X strips but they do not make them anymore. But the hospital gave me plenty of meds to curb the gas. My procedure was 11/28.
