I stalled for 28 days. I upped my Protein and calories..and I do not keep my numbers the same daily. I eat more on workout days and less on lazy days. This has helped kick start the weight loss.
Best of luck

I did not have my surgery with Dr Almanza but I did live in TJ for over 3 yrs and now live in Mexicali.
Enjoy your time there do not get caught up in the scary hype. If you have time go to Playas de Tijuana, the Revolution, and enjoy the food and culture.

My surgery was 12/27. I lost 15 on the 2 week pre-op but have only lost 16 since surgery! I’m 8 weeks out and stuck at current weight for the last 3 weeks. Trying to stay positive but really thought I would be further along at this point [emoji20]

Contact your IPA or *** and ask for a nurse case manager to look over your records. The NCM may advocate for you to have the surgery and that would over-ride the PCPs decision.

Whatever you do remember to stay hydrated...that is the most important thing to do at this point.

I went through all the feelings and regrets that you are going through.
I am now 7 weeks and can say it is much better now.
For me if I drink room temp Water I get pains in my chest but do fine with hot or iced water.
As your stomach heals you will gradually be able to eat more.
Just take this process one day at a time and look at the positives.
I promise this shall pass.
((((Hugs))))

Same surgery date and same amount of calories per day.
I have been stalled for almost 30 days. Upped my Protein over the last couple of days and it pushed calories up to about 800-850 a day. Hoping to break the stall.

I know in my case if I would have followed basic safety rules I would not have been kidnapped and raped by a stranger.
I am in no way at fault for his intentions or actions but I am absolutely responsible for my own safety.
I never said women I believe all people who are capable should be responsible for their own decisions and safety.
There is no such thing as teaching a rapist not to be a predator. They are sick whether from genetics, environment, or chemical. Does this excuse the behavior no...but it tells us to teach others basic safety rules to help prevent becoming a victim.
How did this convo go from some pathetic internet troll to rapist?
Anyway easy action would be to report the nuisance and move on.

Unfortunately this is another thread that probably needs to be dumped in the trash.
Jumping to conclusions and taking others comments out of context seems to be a theme around here.

I am a rape survivor and do NOT find your comment out of line. Some people need to be reminded that when you are on the WWW you are letting it out for universe, big brother, and creeps far and wide to see. Using caution and being discrete are common sense rules when using the internet.

I have been in a panic no weight loss in 28 days and I am only 50ish days out.
My NUT and surgeon say as long as I am losing inches and have energy it is ok.
I think we are just programmed to focus on the scale and that is a very small piece of the process.
Best of luck

Horse tail extract is for the anemia. It can be bought anywhere Vitamins are sold. It stabilizes the hemacrit levels.
It is great for women that still get their menstrual cycle because you will not lose it the way we lose Iron during shark week.
Hashi is so aggravating. I was misdiagnosed for years. Everything from it is all in my head to fibromyalgia to my favorite well it is because you are overweight.
My PvP wanted me to wait 6 months after surgery before doing labs but with this stall I am going to ask for them to be done sooner.

Thank you for the hugs. I have taken synthroid (sp) on and off for the last 16 yrs. I am currently off until my next labs in June. Honestly they have never been able to regulate my thyroid and it is frustrating.
My go to foods are broccoli, Beans, and leafy greens. Before surgery I was taking horse tail extract and that helped tremendously.
I am now at a 28 day stall and think my thyroid is a big factor. It sucks but I am going to stay positive. Feeling better is more important than watching the numbers go down.

Before surgery I was having way more down days..the pain was excruciating and lead to severe depression.
Since surgery things have improved. I would much rather deal with making sure I am consuming what I need to control my health issues than to let my health issues control me.
It is a process but I would not change a thing since surgery..well maybe faster weight loss but that will happen in due time...lol

I have hypothyroidism/hashimoto as well as anemia and hypoglycemia.
I was sleeved in December and really have to work on not bottoming out from the hypo and anemia. I am also allergic to Iron tablets so I have to get my iron through foods. It is a struggle.

Good to know...i thought i had slow progress and i know progress is different for everyone but it makes me feel better that others are in the same ball park with their weight loss progress.
The best part of this is the non scale victories...i am loving the energy level and my skin is clearing up.
Best of luck to everyone!
