I ordered those too. I am expecting the delivery today, but I won't start until Sunday. I was thinking of trying my hip first until the stitches come out. One less thing to worry about in the stomach area!! I added Biotin as well, thanks for the information. I also purchased Biotin Shampoo to help prepare for the Hair loss.

fargosk got a reaction from BearsBeetsBarbells in I lost 100 lbs!!!!
It has happened!! I lost 100 lbs! 313 to 213! To Celebrate, I got a new tattoo, not a Thanksgiving type meal I normally would have given myself as a reward. Such a great feeling, but now on those last 53 lbs....
I have my next goals, but what are my next rewards? What do you reward yourself with when you meet goals, weight or otherwise? Let me hear them, let me hear your latest accomplishments!

I so needed this! I was so pissed at first reading this but exactly what I needed...THANK YOU!

fargosk got a reaction from clsumrall in Is my progress enough?
That's exactly what I did! Google, how much weight I should be losing after sleeve surgery...well apparently I "should" be at around 200lbs...Well crap, I'm 40lbs behind...but your right. My body, my food, my exercising, my mental state, are different from everyone else. As long as I'm losing and making healthy choices (and I feel AMAZING!!!) then I'm on the right track.

Thank you! I keep trying to tell myself that...If I'm losing then I'm good...just sometimes get in my own way with thinking positively..

fargosk got a reaction from FluffyChix in Hubby now wants surgery
@doug548
Divorce is not really in our vocabulary but it was a little shocking. We Celebrate our 10 years this May, he's stuck with me! Its so sweet you two have worked together to have a healthy lifestyle. I'm excited to be able to show our 3 boys what healthy eating and actions look like.

Yes very excited about that! Our date nights will be super cheap! He's been very supportive and took good care of me while I was recovering. I'm happy I get to do the same.

fargosk got a reaction from FluffyChix in Hubby now wants surgery
Hey there,
Hubby was adamant before my surgery he was not interested, but he went in for a consult last week and is now working through insurance requirements! I am happy he wants to be healthy and it will be great working together. Watching him eat Pasta and garlic bread is tough when I'm sipping on a Protein Shake or 3 oz of chicken breast!
Has anyone gone through this process with your SO? Pros? Cons? I read somewhere that divorce rate for couples where one has gone through WLS is 85% but what if both??

What a sweet post @Tealael! One of the things that sabotaged me most in the past was not recognizing my accomplishments, so this is really nice of you.
That is awesome @Creekimp13! I looove when my clothes get too big. My bank account doesn't so much though!
I guess I will humble brag that I've just hit my 11 month mark and lost 130 pounds. My waist has gone from 52" to 33" I went from a size 3x to a L or M.
Thanks for letting me brag, I'm soooo happy!

fargosk got a reaction from Frankette in Nothing tastes good
I had surgery on 11.8.17, down 44lbs total including pre-op diet. I have zero cravings, zero desire to eat. Never hungry and gag before eating but once its down my body feels good, my stomach feels satisfied...anyone else? Any suggestions?

I'm glad I'm not the only person this happened to! I used to drink one for Breakfast every morning before surgery and now I can't even stand the smell of them.

fargosk reacted to LittleLizzieLilliput in Nothing tastes good
Ok, so are Mashed Potatoes on your approved list? Cause that is what I tried as my first "approved" comfort food and it was the first thing I ate that tasted great. lol! I just remember that moment vividly because I was in total misery before then.
Go to http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/p/links-resources.html This is a great place, she has some amazing recepies. Try the Ricotta bake for the pureed stage, it's pretty awesome!

Thanks so much for the input. Glad to hear I'm not alone! Trying different things can be pricey, especially when I can only eat such a small amount and don't like it. Any go to recipes for the first 6 months that made things enjoyable?
