I was sleeved on Dec 13th. I'm three weeks post op, my weight loss is stalling. I have lost almost 40lbs since my surgery but now I have pneumonia and the flu, I am not able to work out at all because I feel so bad. I am doing okay on my pureed diet sometimes my stomach hurts after I eat but the biggest issues I am having now is horrible pain in my left lower side. I go see my doctor on the 16th and I guess I'll ask about it then.

Just has my sleeve put in yesterday. I passed my swallow test this morning and I have never been this happy about getting a bottle of water. The pre op diet sucked. But the recovery yesterday was total he'll. I cramped all night and had severe back pain and a lot of trapped air. It's different for everyone, the lady in the room next to me didn't have any gas. oh but the most significant change in me is that I walked over a mile yesterday and today. 5 times yesterday and 3 today so far. Hopefully i go home soom!

I just got the call this morning. My surgery is on for tomorrow. I'm so nervous. I've been really anxious about it for the past two weeks.

Where did you find the unflavored?

I have no problem with muscle milk or premier protein but my nutritionist keeps telling me that I have to deal with this BA for my pre op diet then I can change post op. I don't understand the difference really.

I got all the BA samples and they all make me sick. I am on my pre op liquid diet now and I stay sick to my stomach every time I take my shake. I can hardly get 5 of them down a day and most of the time they don't stay down for long. Still waiting on a call from my nutritionist to see if there is an alternative

Bcbs of Ga. Is what I have. It took 3 days to get an approval the first time but they had to cancel it and resubmit it with the right codes and I'm just worried I will lose my surgery date this time.

The admin sent the wrong info into my insurance company. Idk how insurance works but apparently there is a code and she just typed in the wrong one. So now they have to cancel the bypass and resubmit for the sleeve and hopefully it gets approved in time. If not then I lose my surgery date and did this liquid diet for nothing.

How long did it take for your insurance to approve you?

I got my insurance verification back and I was approved but it said I was approved for a roux en y bypass not a sleeve. I really wanted to get a sleeve because I just thought it would be a better fit for me. I'm a bit disappointed. I am talking to my doctor soon so I will see what happened.

On my way to my pre op visit with my doctor. Surgery is in 2 weeks. So excited.

I got my cpap Tuesday and i can't use it because the mask breaks my face out. It's the Amana or whatever mask that sits under my nose and over my mouth. I have been trying to call my sleep center but I haven't had my calls returned yet. Has anyone had this problem or know what it might be?

I don't know how I am ever going to make it 4 weeks on this diet. It's not the fact that I can't eat food. This shake that required makes me vomit. How do I know that I'm keeping enough protein in?

I have to drink bariatric advantage, and I don't have any food to track, just the protein right now.

I purchased the chewable calcium from my dr office and i take a b12 shot every month. As for my multivitamin he told me to take a Flintstone complete twice a day. I also have to take iron.

I am in georgia I am have mine done December 13. I live in cedartown about an hour from woodstock, I have to go there for my sleep doctor at northside

December 13th for me which also happened to be my birthday. I'm nervous now.
