If you haven't changed anything up, then it might be worth a call. You probably are getting some ab work with the incline, but if you haven't changed it then it's weird it would be sore now. I do know you can get some weird pain due to scar tissue further out. Worth checking it out.

I also had my surgery on the 16th, I'm on liquids until the 30th

I was sleeved Thursday, 11/16. I came home Friday and I feel pretty good. I'm walking around the neighborhood a few times a day. My only problem is that when I drink anything it really burns my stomach. I hope this feeling goes away soon. I'm still on clear liquid until Tomorrow

I had surgery on the same day! My Clear Liquids are for 7 days and I’m already fantasizing about the yoghurt I’m going to have Friday morning. My surgery was at 7:30 and by 9:30 I was back in my room. At noon I went for my first walk around the ward which was tiring but I made it. My Dr requires that you walk every 2 hours for about 10mins. The only thing really bugging me is the pain just above my belly button incision. The pain isn’t on the site, just a bit higher up, I hope that it will pass soon because I want to start walking on the treadmill on Friday.
I also did some laundry yesterday which I pretty much avoid doing, seems like the surgery is turning me into a good partner, lol.

The doctor has not had any leaks. I am very healthy other than being overweight. I was not given a pre op diet plan. But am following one that I found on line. I guess I'm just stressing over the un known

Leaks are rare. I have met many people with the sleeve and they have never had a leak. As long as your surgeon has great stats, you will be fine.

They ARE quite rare, and when they do happen, it's usually very small, and with appropriate treatment, they get better.
The main thing YOU can do is to follow your postop diet to the letter (and if it seems like it progresses too fast for comfort, you can always go slower than the diet).

The day after surgery you should have a leak test that's ordered by your surgeon, it will ease your worries ( but the solution you must drink is horrible[emoji21]) plus your probally just nervous over thinking the procedure because your getting close[emoji41] good luck you'll be fine!

My gastric sleeve is in 10 days. I started stressing over the possibility of a leak. Has anyone here had a leak?

I was sleeved on 11/02. Incision pains aren’t nearly as bad as gas pains. I wasn’t able to get any liquids down yesterday but I got 33oz down tonight. It doesn’t hurt as much to drink now so I should be fine meeting my liquid goals for this week. I haven’t tried broth or Jello yet and prob won’t until another couple of days. Walking helps with the gas but can be painful because of the gas. My doctor recommends walking 3-4x a day for 30 minutes. I only got in about 45 minutes today so I’ll really need to space that out.
