I’m really sorry everything has happened to you but girl you got this. You are strong and independent and don’t need a man like that in your life. You can do so much better!
  2. How did you guys get through your stall? Any ideas on different foods to try or different exercises?

    Highest weight

I was complete opposite then when I started my journey. I wanted to start with a really low weight for my goal and I’m already down 97 pounds with 61 more to go and it makes my drive to lose the weight even better and faster. Everyone had their own journeys but yes everyone does do that what they got that first goal.
  4. I had Barrett’s esophagus disease well early stages and with my sleeve it resolved itself

    Highest weight

When I was getting prepared for my surgery I wanted to be small just because all my friends were but if I were anywhere between 140-160 I think I’d be content because at my heaviest I was 298 and I feel if I hit that 300 mark I would have a nervous break down. I’m at 210 now and I’m hoping to get through this stall and lose more. Goodluck!
  7. I had my surgery in November. Are you getting the sleeve? The best advice I’m going to give you is to drink your water, stay away from sick people, and make sure you’re walking and following your diet plan. I did all those things but my surgery was in the heart of the sick season and I ended up getting sick and almost dying. Just be aware what’s around you and what your putting into your body. And you can do this. You’ll be great!

You’re beautiful and strong and you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life. This is a happy time for you and don’t let some jerk ruin it. You can find someone way better and you’ll be happier. Listen to your heart. You got this!

    I wish I never had this done...help!

I’m sorry about your experience with the sleeve. I had a terrible experience as well but mine wasn’t like yours. I got my surgery in November and by December I was throwing up non stop. I was admitted for four days because of the vomiting and then I was allowed to come home. In January I ended up being rushed to the hospital by ambulance because I lost consciousness in the shower and fell. I ended up losing all the fluid in my brain and had nerve damage in my leg. I’m almost 6 months out now and I’m doing great. I’m happy I got the surgery but I’m saddened by my outcome. I’m glad you’re okay. If you need anyone to talk to I’m hear to listen

    Relationship changes

Congrats on your weight loss journey! It’s long road and it’s hard & stressful sometimes especially weigh the relationship part. Mainly because you’re working on your relationship you have with yourself and also with others. I was sleeved nov 28 and I’m down 96.5 pounds so far. I’d say my relationship ship has been pretty impacted by my weight loss journey for the good, the bad and the ugly. I got sick after my surgery and I ended up having a near death experience so on top of a already difficult situation was more stress and emotions. My boyfriend stuck by my side every way. He drove me to the hospital the day of my surgery with my mom and sat with me as long as he could before work and came to visit as much as possible when I got home. I was hospitalized two more times after my surgery. Once in December and again in January but that one I was taken in by ambulance. My relationship changed a lot and my boyfriend and I both eat really well and he changed his lifestyle around because of me. He’s lost 10 pounds and is still trying to lose some weight but he struggles a lot just with his work schedule. I think with everything that happened to me and to us we have grown better as a unit and are capable of anything we set out to do. But it’s still hard. Especially right after surgery when you can’t eat anything and you just want to smack them for eating in front if you but you get past it. I wish you the best of luck!
