You are an educated woman. This is your body. You are the one who is carrying this weight. It's your decision not his. Your body, your decision. I think you are a smart woman and you already know what the answer is. Best of luck .

    You look amazing.
Biotin takes about 3 months before you notice a difference. Now having said that, I do not notice a difference. I have been taking Biotin 2 years before surgery. Noticeable difference. hair was strong and very shiny. Since the operation, RNY Nov. 1 2107- my hair started really falling out at the 4 month mark. Thankfully I already have thick hair but boy now I know how people feel with fine hair! It's supposed to improve again. Hopefully I am not bald by them. Lol

I'm just so proud to be apart of a group of people who began their journey around the same time
    Some lose faster
    Some lose slower
    Some starter heavier
    Some starter lighter
We are all diverse but the one
Thing we have in common is that we are all getting
    BETTER
so please keep the inspirational updates coming I need them like rain in the desert

6 months out, absolutely no regrets. Wish I would have done it sooner!
Hoping by this time next year I will reach my goals.Being 55 years old the weight takes longer to shed but it can be done.
If your doubting getting this operation, don't. If I could do it anyone can. I even quit smoking.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.

I think one of the things you need to do is be organized. You have to have ready meals, and Snacks. You cannot say you will never have Desserts ever again. That is not realistic. But you can have ready low carb ,no sugar desserts . Lots of varieties out there. I even bought Protein chips for those times I really want to have a crunchy snack.I always have ready protein in the fridge. I am actually going to start freezing little meals I can grab and just pop in the microwave. But you have to be organized and proactive. You can do this. I know it's a fear we all have: gaining all our weight back. Let that fear push you to make the right choices .

I stay away from some carbs because they are triggers. I buy some food from low carb. So I don't feel deprived.

You are so courageous to have the back surgery! I have lots of back issues, and probably need surgery. I found getting in the pool or the hot tub therapy pool is very helpful. See if your surgeon will clear you for that. I find moving in the pool is helpful.
Also congratulations on losing so much weight! If you are finding you are gaining again because your emotional eating, try to stick to Protein. I get really bad head hunger and I do not grab carbs or sweats,I try to grab high protein foods. If I want to have something sweat I keep it low carb .
I wish you much success on this weight loss journey. Sending you healing thoughts.
