  2. I’m okay with pain I think is the gas and I don’t know how to help me get rid of it.... I’m burping little by little but pain still there. Was nauseous and felt like throwing up yesterday but not today.

Walk and walk some more, lay on left side, this will help with gas but only time will get rid of it. Glad you feel better

  3. Sleeved on Nov. 1.

Recovery room was rough and I threw up a couple times. After that I was wheeled to a room and slept for several more hours. All total I slept 12 hours post op. People kept talking to me but I was so out of it. I don't remember my husband kissing me and going home for the night.

I finally woke up at 9pm and drank some chicken broth and walked 2 miles in laps around my ward. Sipped Water. Then I konked back out.

I was up every 45 minutes going pee all night long.

Woke up the next day (today) and felt great. Walked over 4 miles throughout the day waiting for hubby to pick me up at 5p. The staff was calling me marathoner. I inspired other patients to get up and walk with me.

I had a small cup of yogurt and some tomatoes Soup and a premier chocolate shake throughout the day.

Good luck to all three other November sleevers.

  4. I'm starting to question if this is the right thing to do

I question myself daily, and my husband has been so supportive by telling me hes going to go through it with me and change his diet as well, he has even vowed not to eat in front of me until i can advance my diet. Im a nurse so I am all over the place with the positives and the negatives. But with positive thinking and family/friend support WE CAN DO THIS [emoji6]

  5. Sleeved 11/2/17.
My feelings yesterday after surgery was droggy from meds a little bit of vomitting from anesthesia but other than that got up from my bed and also walked with no assistance. Was only given Water and ice chips.< br>Day 1 post op I got up at 6am, went for a walk around the hallways. Dr came in to discharge me and i sipped some chicken broth and Jello. Feeling amazing! Best decision! (:

Thank you for sharing, im still so excited yet nervous[emoji15]
