  3. Just wanted to let you all know, you all are awesome people ! You all are so beautiful ! Keep up the good work and some day I might take a picture of myself it's not comfortable for me, I feel like I'm still in the old body even though I have reached a 91 pound loss to date.

Again, all of you congrats on your weight loss journey !

Is anyone else battling hair loss right now? I know they told me it was normal, but I feel like I’m losing ALOT! It is starting to worry me, because I can actually feel the difference in thickness of my hair now. I started taking Biotin a month ago, but haven’t noticed any difference. On a side note... I love this forum! Being able to communicate with and follow the progress of others who have been through the same procedure is so inspiring!

First of all congratulations on the 75lbs down !! Huge accomplishment!!!

I can relate I was sleeved 11/09/17 and I’m down 80lbs. This past month I have more of an appetite, which scares me a little. But I’m doing my best to make an effort to have low calorie, low sugar high in Protein foods and also when I do snack trying to make good choices like string cheese, yogurt and sugar free Snacks . I stay btw 800-1000 calories a day myself.

Thank you. your doing awesome yourself !

  6. I had the same stall just in the past few weeks. Just had knee replacement surgery a couple weeks ago so hoping to break through the stall . Still trying to stay under 1000 calories which is pretty easy to do still, but snacking is starting to creep in, which I need to stop immediately !

Weight loss 75 lbs. since 11/20/17

I had VSG on 11/20/17 and since the pre-op diet that was 1 week before the 13th I am down 54.6 Lbs. People might think that's low other maybe not but in reality I am happy with whatever because before surgery it was hard to lose it and if I did I would gain it back and I know I am not gaining these back. For those who think they are not doing enough or good you are doing amazing! I've seen pictures and read success stories already. Keep pushing you got this! I know I haven't been in here in a while but I am happy for us all who took this big step! Guys I am also excited because I am telling my story on YouTube. I wasn't sure if I should share it here but is 2018 and so far it has been good to me and I hope you guys love it. I'll leave the link below. Love you guys!

You and I had surgery the same date. I've been following your progress and success since you gave me support a few months ago. Good for you and you look incredible !

Hello Everyone. Well, my time has come. FINALLY! My surgery has been post phoned twice, once by y surgeon going out of town 2 weeks before surgery, and then the most recent was, I’m sure everyone heard, the major wild fire in NApa area in California. That cancelled my surgery for the 2nd time. But I am set to have my surgery on the 27th! I am super excited and I can not wait! I think now that it is closer to time, I am beginning to psyc myself out. Trying to get everything ready is stressing me to the limit. My surgeon is 5 hours away, so I am taking Amtrack down there, got a room threw Airbnb, and going to Uber for transport. Lol. Can any one give some advice on what I should take with me, what i will need, and what to actually expect?

    How are you doing ?

  9. Alright, Monday the 20th is the day scheduled for my surgery. Currently I've been on a liquid diet since the 30th of Oct. been the hardest thing I've ever done ! But thinking into the future I'm not sure I'm making the right decision. Has it been worth the struggles for you that have had the surgery?

My Surgery date is Nov 22 but I started my liquid diet a few days ago since I need a full month. How are you doing so far?

Really well so far. But I have to admit when I get home from work it's a struggle. At this point I make an effort to go outside or to the gym. I have to admit just having another person like yourself doing the same thing makes it a tad bit better. Good luck !

Started my two week liquid diet today. Surgery is November 8th. Anybody else out there with the same surgery date. Would love to have some people to bounce things off of and talk to during this journey.
