My last day of work before the big day Monday morning, check in at 8AM. I am on full liquids tomorrow, and clear on Sunday. Still have to pack, but mentally trying to prepare myself. I know there are a few active folks on here with the same date, so let's talk about how we feel as they day approaches!

I just received the phone call that I am meeting with the nurse tomorrow to discuss surgery dates. All tests and classes completed and the 1st part of my mission will be completed. I'm ready to go.

For all you belly sleepers, how long after surgery was it before you could comfortably sleep on your belly?

3 weeks would be brutal. I have never been a back sleeper. Always my side or stomach.

I'm the 16th as well. Best of luck to you @Drea8989 and @hillnicole34. I luckily don't have to do a pre-op diet but am only eating 1 meal per day and a shake for the others just to make sure my liver is smaller. -

@lala777o1I am scheduled for 10/16. I did the pre-registration today, have a final nutrition class on Wednesday, meeting with the surgeon Thursday, and then they'll call on Saturday to give me the arrival time. Nervous and excited and a bunch of other emotions. -

I really didn’t think when I went for my appointment today that they would give me a date 12 days away. A wave of emotions took over me, fear, nervousness, and excitement. I’m ready for the journey and look forward to a healthier and slimmer me. I can’t wait to enjoy things with my wife and kids...zip lining, canopy tours, tough mudder maybe? Who knows. Ready for this 2nd go

I just got my date about an hour ago...October 16th. It just got real. I’m extremely nervous and so very excited at the same time -
I just got the call that the lab results and EKG are back. Scheduled an appointment for tomorrow to discuss surgery dates with the nurse and verify all classes and steps have been completed. I'm hoping and praying that the day I've waited so long for will actually be a reality and I can say "I'll be starting to get my life back on XXXX date." I just have to bring my binder/test, post op vitamins and two weeks of food logs with me. Fingers crossed that something is set.

I've done all tests, nutrition classes, support groups, etc. with Kaiser in Northern California. I did my blood work and EKG this morning, now meeting with the nurse next week to discuss surgery date! All other pre-op requirements have been finally met! So excited to get this done...sooner rather than later. -

I'm very hopeful to have a November date. I go in for my labs and EKG tomorrow, then I'll meet with the nurse next week to discuss surgery dates. I started the process 08/02/17 @Kaiser and have been very eager to get things rolling! -
