I feel like I’m constantly stalling too, your surgery day weight was wayyyy less then mine, you’re doing really well, i think! Congrats!

I was told to eat a bit more daily and it’s been helping, plus working out 7 days a week

But you went from 227 to 159 that’s a tremendous accomplishment!

I'm 5'2 and started at 225, so similar to yours
I don't see how these numbers would make us lose slower, i think it's very individual and based on diet and exercise as well.
I'm only 5 days post sleeve so i can't say yet.
    Good luck!

I'm on purée now and one of my favorite things right now is one scrambled egg white with two tablespoons of ricotta cheese, i put the ricotta on the skillet first so it melts a little bit and then pour the egg white over it and scramble it until it's cooked but still mush -- can do the same with a full egg i would assume, i just can't use yolks

Also, i make chicken broth and take out the chicken, purée the chicken with some geek yogurt and a tiny bit of fat free mayo--- can do the same with tuna or eggs for an egg salad

Other then that, yogurt, mozzarella sticks, cottage cheese

    Sorry, i don't think so
Mine was 2/13, and i have a work thing this wednesday-Thursday 2/21-22, and i don't think I'm going. It involves dinner, hotel, and an all day training on Thursday....

I was in a lot of pain and very weak since my surgery until yesterday (Monday) which was the first day i went outside for a walk.
I totally thought I'd be back at work early but I see now why a week and a half to two weeks is necessary. You have to let you body heal properly, and you have to get your Protein and fluids in. Those first days at home were the hardest i can't imagine doing them anywhere else.
Message me if you have questions since i just went through it and am still home healing!!

You're so lucky, the people i work with are nosy and super judgmental. Love them but when it comes to anything outside of their typical lifestyle, they judge the crap out of you.

Also from Bk but I live in Rockaway...I know dont throw rocks lol i was sleeved 1/29 at st johns with Dr. Andrade. 19 days out and I've only lost 7 lbs so I'm kinda in a rut. My sw was 218 and I'm not 211 so I'm feeling kinda bummed but also optimistic. Let's all be friends!!!!!

I thought of that too, it might be less as a 300+ lbs person in the same amount of time, but it'll be relative still, that's what I'm expecting.
The way my dr put it is that the surgery will help you lose 70% of excess weight, and i would think I'll get there at the one year mark.

But this is an interesting thought that you brought up, let's stay in touch and see how this goes!!

The reason I heard that it would be slower is we have a lot less to lose than say someone who is 300+ lbs. It is similar to why someone who is 125lbs finds it harder to lose 5 lbs because. I am much closer to my goal weight (not close enough, which is why I'm having the surgery) than someone heavier. Someone who is heavier could lose 60 pounds easily in 2-3 months after sleeve vs someon in lower 200's would only average around 20-30.
I am just wondering on other's whose statistics are closer to mine, how their experience has been for them thus far.
I look forward to hearing your guys' journeys.

Still taking pain medicine every 4 hours, because why not keep myself more comfortable?

funny because i never heard of this before and it wasn't given to me as instructions, my surgery is tomorrow and my friend is an anesthesiologist and he said nail polish had to come off ! But i called my hospital and they said i can leave it on--- it probably depends on your place and their equipment
