I truly understand!! I had my sleeve 8/16/17 and I’ve lost 90lbs total and gained 10 in the last year! I’m comfortable weight wise but I’m with you about this face!! I loved my face 50-60lbs in but now I’m trying to find collagen supplements and or skin care products to help with the sagging 😳 Ughhhh!! Lol!

So thought I'd start this thread for those who are currently in maintenance (or are trying to be ), there are not as many active maintenance-ers on here, but I'm hoping for the ones that are, they can chime in and impart their wisdom for those are trying to achieve that coveted balance of weight stability.

I'd have to do the reading on the studies behind this to get a solid opinion .... BUT
The first video has some red flags, for me.
"It's not about what you eat, it's about when you eat" Well that's just not true.
One of the studies it sites is based upon 8 people. That's not solid science.
I'd be interested to see some of the studies and if they tracked calories consumed. The BY study it says the participants ate their normal food. But were they consuming less of those foods because they had less time to eat, they cut out a meal or snack?
Where did they get that schedule from, eat 30-60 minutes after waking up, eat a larger breakfast than lunch. I don't see any study sited for that.
"A week later you'll start feeling all the amazing benefits" This sounds like the hype around every fad diet, IMO
"Don't count calories, they don't matter" Don't we all wish that was the truth
Why is there the focus to eat during the early part of the day? I didn't hear them refer to any studies on that
So, I acknowledge I am a natural cynic. But if this video was the first time I heard of IF, I'd write it off as another fad diet. I know there is solid science behind IF, but this video just makes it seem like some sort of miracle. And we all know that losing weight, no matter what plan we follow, even when we have our stomachs removed or digestive track rerouted is hard af!

Ok, this is nit picky, but 10 seconds in I'm turned off by full-proof vs. fool proof.
Ugh, maybe I'm just terrible ....

I had a hungry day yesterday, so I didn't do IF. But at least everything I ate was smart choices, so I'm ok with that. We'll see if my hunger monster is awake today, if it has taken the day off I'll do IF today.
@GreenTealael I'm super impressed you can fast on a travel day. My travel days are planes and airports and all the food available gets to me, every time.

I'm struggling to follow. What are AR and BS?

So I've been IF'ing since 6pm on Tuesday (sort of, minus the 50 calories or so for my coffee, and the 2 servings of candy corn and 2/3 wings I ate last night.... I know I know)... not doing too bad overall, dropped a pound since yesterday thankfully (without the typical morning download), hopefully I'll be back on track come tomorrow. I think I'm going to switch to just liquids for a little while, something is off with my stomach/intestines that's mildly uncomfortable, so I want to make sure I get a good flush to make sure nothing is getting hung up in there.

Im going to start doing my part to see what I can forgo... but
Necessities
Breast lift (idk maybe anchor large C-D, no implants)
TT lots of muscle repair
Wish list:
fat transfers for a BBL
Thigh lift

I knew I would have plastics from day one. I always saw this as a two step process, WLS & plastics.
I had originally planned for plastics this Fall. But that's not an option now due to my work travel schedule. In looking at my schedule next year, there is no way I can plan enough down time for recovery, until Mid November. I confirmed that next Fall my schedule should be more flexible than this one. I even gave my boss a heads up and got his support on the non-travel time. I figure I will need a week or less of actual sick time, considering I work from home. Funny, my boss does not know about my WLS, but I have no issue telling him about plastics . I HATE having to wait a year, because I'm not a patient person, but it is what it is.
Knowing I'm not having plastics for a year has led me to being more relaxed about my weight loss. I'm not in a mad rush to get to goal. I like the way I look in clothes. In a few more pounds I'll get to a normal BMI. I think I'll be happy at around 140, once plastics tightens everything up. I don't want to go lower, I don't think, because I don't want to lose my a$$ Additionally, I'm dating someone right now, who seems pretty ok with how I look naked . So that also takes some of the pressure off to get "fixed" right away.
Procedures
Breast augmentation & lift - Gummy bear tear drop implants, natural looking D-DD
Tummy Tuck - may not need muscle repair, since I've never been pregnant
Lipo - back, flanks, thighs
Inner thigh lift - I don't want the long thigh lift scars. This surgery is the most daunting for recovery, and risks associated.
Arm lift - crescent or modified T, again, I don't want the long scars
Neck lift - this is secondary after the plastics above, maybe in a few years
I'd really really love to get all of the body procedures done at once. But I'm not sure if that is possible. It's just so hard to get the time to recover with my job, I'd like to only have to do it once, IYKWIM? The good thing is I have tons of great plastic surgeons local to me, so I'm spoiled in that respect.

This morning I ask that we lift up in prayer my BARI bud Ellie123. She will be undergoing RnY surgery at 1 PM. CST in Dallas Texas. She is the mama of 2 little ones,,6 and 7 years. Pray for peace for her 7 year son, he is very worried that things won't go well for Mama. She is a beliver trying to live a life of victory daily, her fearbe witness day by day in her life. She is just 40, yeah young enough to be your kid or mine. So Lord Jesus guide her today. Sooth all her fears, let her go to sleep secure in the knowledge she is GODS CHILD, let her surgeon's hands be strong steady and sure as he performs this surgery, may she awake refreshed and calm, may her pain and discomfort be small, may her recovery be smooth, may she be granted a l9nger life to love and serve you daily. I humbly ask this believing in the promise where 2 or more believers are gathered, there YOU also will be. Watch over this Lamb, Gentle Shephard, for she truly is of your Flock. And to you all honor, glory and praise given Amen and Amen.

In Jesus name..I think this was a heartfelt beautiful gesture unto others. The labor is plenty the workers are few. Prayers in spirit and truth are needed sooo much today now more than ever. Praying for those specifically regarding this procedure is comforting...we put so much faith in the Drs surgeons etc but the Lord is the true SOURCE...with all that being said....I pray your continued strength and covering in the Lord as you go forth doing the greater work. LET THE LORD USE YOU MY BROTHER IN CHRIST....stay obedient to the Holy Spirit.

I just want to let everyone know that I have read every post that has been made thus far, and will continue to do so.
I truly appreciate all of the kind words that you have posted, I truly and sincerely am praying for each and every one of you on here because I know that's what the Lord wants me to do, even I myself always stands in the need of prayer, after all the Bible does say pray ye one for another.
Even though I don't know any of you personally, I do love and care about you, that's what it takes to be Christ like.
