You could try the Protein Water as well.

I am one year out (Surgiversary was Oct 3), and I saw a cool idea I was inspired by, so I saved all my jeans and took an image of them all. Biggest was size 20, smallest (current) size 4. Needless to say I should have taken stock in Old Navy!

Not sure what is wrong . Do you go by the diet guidelines we are suppose to use for our lifetime? I am 9 month out now I started at 250 also im 5'9 and below my original goal of 165 now I'm 145. I t was effortless really . Since only a few ounces ever fit in my stomach. Maybe go to a group for the eating part to get on track. Kiaser has one . Never give up failures not an option. Hehe that's what I tell myself anyways.

I am 3 years 3 months out and Reached goal by one year and maintained. I was at 123 and became vegan and I have dropped to 110. But I still have my bloodwork drawn and everything is fantastic. My Protein levels are perfect and I really enjoy the lifestyle.

I changed my Protein Bars and shakes to vegan but I don't use them much because I cook all the time now.

I had gastric bypass and it changed my Outlook on food. I also don't eat red meat and very little white meat. My whole relationship with food. I loved food and now I hate it. I am over a year out and feel 20 years younger and hit goal. Alot of people don't recognize me and that is ok. I fought the surgery and cried on operating table as I felt like a failure but know I wish I had done it sooner.

I live with my husband and inlaws (and kids). My MIL is heavy. My hubby is heavy. They both are extremely happy for me in my successes, but at the same time, there IS a bit of jealousy. My hubby doesn't come across as such, but 4 months postop, he suddenly starts a diet himself
My MIL bounces between sticking her tongue out at me at the mention of my losses, and celebrating cheek bones.
I weigh every day. I write my weight on the calendar once a week. I've only mentioned my actual weight to my MIL about 4 times. She guesses (always 10 pounds off one way or the other), then I'll tell her... I guess it's about once a month.
My hubby was trying to guess yesterday, but I didn't want him to feel bad, so I brushed past the #s issue and dug down to the important part of the conversation.
Even though the eating and weight and process are all-engrossing for us, it's important to minimize the process' importance around other people. Learn how to communicate information and gratitude for compliments, but don't let the conversation get bogged down talking about you.

I'm scheduled for September 19 and am interested!

Good luck on your journey! I recently went clothes shopping because nothing fit anymore. Non-scale victories along the way are great motivators and I wish the same success for you!

Hello my fellow fabulous fifties friends! (who doesn't love an alliteration?)
I'm 55 and just had my RNY surgery on November 30, 21015. I'm still in the healing phase and choking down my liquids, but I'm looking forward to seeing the results that I'm reading about. A little nervous about the sagging, If I have to be honest. I've always looked a little younger than my 50's counterparts because of the wrinkle-reducing fluff, after weight loss - not so much. So, we'll see what that brings.
