    Experience with BCBS Michigan???

Hi! I have it. My doctors office did all the work and it took about 2 weeks. It's nice because they give you a night in the hospital. Gege

Cannot stick to pre op diet

You are not alone! Just do your best. All doctors seem to be different so who really knows what all this does??? 6 more days for me. Gege
  3. Thank you. Just what I needed today!
  4. Ok me too! Exact same! On on pre-op diet now and feeling so hungry and deprived that I'm having cold feet. We must be normal if 3 of us are feeling this way. Maybe it's the hunger talking..lol

    17lbs down.......

How wonderful!!!! I'm so glad you posted. I am in the "is it really worth it phase" of the pre-op diet. Love reading such positivity.
  6. I'm glad it's over for you. As for the snobby nurse, that's on her. Welcome to your new life! Gege

    My story - pre surgery

I'm in the same place. It must be normal. It's all getting too real for us. Make a pintrest board of all the outfits you'd like to wear when you are where you want to be and look at it often. Include any occasion wear and everyday styles that you can't wear now. It has really helped to look at my Pintrest board when I'm doubting. We are the same age. We can do this. Eyes on the prize... My surgery is Nov. 17. Yours?
  10. Good luck! Let us know how it goes please. Prayers for you for a speedy recovery. Life on the other side will be sweet.
  11. Such great support! Thank you! I feel better that others share my concerns. I am very emotional right now as well. I begin pre-op diet tomorrow and I'm mourning the loss of my old friend food. Life will be totally different and It is definately good advice to keep eyes on the prize. I just feel like I'm a hot mess lately. Let's keep this support going. It's so good to hear from others in the same boat! Thank you.
  12. Just praying nothing goes wrong somewhere down the line that makes me sorry I did it. I'm still in 100 percent just second guessing myself, will it work? Can I do this? Surgery Nov. 17. Anyone else worried???
  13. Hi everyone! Beginning to forget why I'm doing this... cold feet I think they call it... anyone else???? Starting to question everything. Hoping I'm normal [emoji12]

    Anyone from the Chicagoland area

That's what I've heard. It sounds like you have to get to know your body all over again. Based on what you said, I'm going to plan for 10 days. I also have a night job 5 days a week and sat. morning so I may return to that job first. Would you mind If I asked the name of your dietician? I want to be ready before they make the hard sell on the shakes. I've been worried about the pre-op diet but, yours sounds do able. Good luck going back to work. I'm sure you are starting to feel like a whole new person. Gege
