slow and steady wins the race.  don't get discouraged and just keep at it. Let your sleeve do its job and try not to stress yourself out.

I am officially under my ultimate goal weight...holy cow! Just wanted to share an update on my progress. I didn't take a whole lot of progress pics. The before is the oldest one I have and its 2.5 months post op and the right photo is of me today! Thrilled with my progress. Hoping everyone is happy, healthy and doing great!

Some of the water produced as the body consumes fat exits in the usual way, through your urine and sweat. But a 2014 study in the British Medical Journal found that most of the byproducts of fat (including all that carbon dioxide) leaves the body through the respiratory system.
Yep, you read that right. You breathe out the byproducts of most of the fat that you burn, the CO2 from that process mingling with the CO2 produced by your lungs as they process oxygen. It's something to think about while you hit the gym or walk on a track: getting rid of fat can be exhausting, but it's as natural as breathing.

allwet reacted to ms.sss for a status update, So I went to a wedding last night and definitely consumed more calories than I ever h
So I went to a wedding last night and definitely consumed more calories than I ever had since before my 2-week pre-op diet.  I didn't have a scale nor labels to scan, so I estimated everything in MFP, and logged in about 2000 calories.  I didn't really eat much, so most of this was comprised of booze (red wines and gin & sodas) and 3 spoonfuls of creme brûlée.
Well, either I over-exerted myself with all the dancing, or I was drunker than I planned, or I possibly experienced my second-ever dumping episode (I say possibly because I'm still not sure the first one I had was really dumping nor am I positive that last night was one either...).  I was sweating at the level of my pre-op days, and barfed for like 15 minutes.  Luckily, I felt sooo much better after the barfing that I got to enjoy the rest of the night, so all was not completely lost.
I have another wedding to go to this month, and will do better.  Pinky swear.

Well January finally did it. Started the month and ended the month at the exact same weight.
First time my weight journal has had a Zero written in it.
Feb 1 is the 18 month mark and it does feel like the end of one journey and the start of another.
Do not see the surgeon again till August but he was happy at 175 so i do not see any issues there.

Ok , you can all have a laugh at my expense today.
As a kid i never cared for PB&J i would eat one if it was all that was available but i always preferred a tuna sandwich.
The other day my daughter comes over with an All Natural Peanut Butter and as we are talking in the kitchen she opens this jar up and the smell just about knocked me over. It was amazing. So i got a spoon and tried it straight, no jellies for me anymore, I was blown away with the amazing taste. Now i don't know if this a case of taste buds changing or just good Peanut Butter but that was a great treat. So i now have a jar in my kitchen and while i only eat a spoonful of it on any given day i am still amazed at how great it tastes.
Happy Holidays, I hope you are all doing great over this holiday period.

I have been very busy lately and my arm has finally stopped hurting, still no lifting, but my weight loss started up again so i am back to trying to find the right calorie number to hold in place. Its weird to think this way now and i am having a harder time increasing my calorie intake than i thought i would. It feels wrong to tell myself to eat more. So many years of yo-yo dieting messing with me right now. The Mental game just never ends.
