Last night I made a recipe with a high grade szechuan peppercorn shells.  I read about the numbing properties, thought I'd be OK, but WOW, holy mackerel!!  I thought I was gonna die!  I had water to wash it down and the water tasted SO WEIRD.  Made me wonder if this is what I might expect after surgery.  I lived/ haha

      Holy moly! I'd never heard that about the peppercorns. How much did you use? Must of been "good herb," man! ;) Glad you lived, btw! I'd hate to lose my surgery buddy!

      I've been having my GERD again lately (think from my vitamins)...and yep. All of a sudden, mid-bite, you can't make something go down your throat or even make yourself swallow. I know the first time it happens, that's it for whatever I'm eating. So I assume that's what surgery will be like?
