  1. Thank you ladies for sharing. I'm almost 8 weeks post op. Day of surgery was 249 and now 222. I have PCOS and thyroid issues. Just had thyroid removed last week. Weight is coming off super slow but it's coming off.
  2. It's normal. I regretted it for the first month but Monday marks two months and I'm no longer feeling like way. It gets better.
  3. So I just met with my surgeon. 8 weeks on Monday and she wants me to stay with two shakes a day and 1 meal...no snacks. Prior to seeing her I was following the nutritionist and was leaning off the shakes to 1 one a day and 3 small meals ranging to 700-800 day. I've only lost post op 26lbs. She wants me to stay at 600 calories a day. I feel like I don't eat but Lord back to the shakes so depressing. Taking it day by day.

    July 2017 Sleevers

Sleeved on July 3rd. Surgery weight 249. Currently 224. Monday marks 7 weeks. I'm losing super slow and I just don't get it. I thought by this time I would be in the low teens. I have pcos so I wonder if it's affecting me.
  5. Monday makes six weeks and I have only lost 20lbs. The scale isn't moving. I have PCOS and wonder if that's slowing my progress. I barely eat. I'm feeling defeated.

    Vitamins....

I am on them and vitamin levels were checked and they were high. I also take 2 per day Flintstones chewables.

    Working Out and Calorie Intake

I went to the gym yesterday for the first time since surgery and I was done. Walked on the treadmill for 25 minutes and bike 10 and had to push myself. Im 4 weeks post op. Energy was low.
  8. How much weight have you lost 1 month post op?
  9. Tomorrow marks 4 weeks and this week the scale hasn't moved. Only 18lbs down. Is this normal?

I just assume it would be more since I'm not even eating.

Actually, eating less does not always mean losing weight. If your calories are too low, it could be stalling you. Are you really not eating anything? I was on soft foods by the 4-week mark.

I'm sure its a stall. One of many. You'll get through it! Keep your eye on the prize and all will be well.

Thanks Sherri. It has definitely not been easy.

  13. For the past few days I noticed that my right side of the stomach is swollen near my liver. I feel discomfort. Could it be a leak or is it normal to still be swollen 3 weeks post op? I'm freaking out.
